It is a fantastic place that you can view beautiful landscape of Bath. It is worth to take an hour or more time in the park to stroll under beautiful trees and enjoy the scenic too. there is a playground areas for kids too. Entrance of the park is free. There are few parking spaces inside the park.

I started my walk to Alexandra Park from Bath Spa Station. Walked across a small bridge and made my way up the fairly steep hill to the park. I was quite knackered by the time I got to the top. The view was worth it. The descend was a little easier, but if you have bad knees, I recommend passing.

I started my walk to Alexandra Park from Bath Spa Station. Walked across a small bridge and made my way up the fairly steep hill to the park. I was quite knackered by the time I got to the top. The view was worth it. The descend was a little easier, but if you have bad knees, I recommend passing.

The view is amazing. You do not have to walk up the difficult steps from Alexandra or Calton Road. You can walk straight on up Lyncombe Hill to the top ,follow the road to the right then cross and go through a 5 bar gate and follow the path through the Lyncombe Farm Fields to a kissing gate- Go through, turn left and you join the path to the viewpoint. You can also return via the Beechen Cliff Woods by continuing along the path from the viewpoint past the Bowls club ,past two further viewpoints, then down either steps or a path down to Holloway and back via the road or...
