My experience with Boots SouthGate Opticians has been on the verge of terrible with from initial contact i had previously spoken to a lady on the desk and we had spent 20 minutes picking out glasses as i had just had my eye test everything else etc. Once the frames had been picked i had told the lady i would like to order these, the lady had not mentioned payment nor how the transaction would occur. I had mentioned two or three times do i not have to take payment today? the lady told me on two separate occasions you can pay for them when they have been ordered in. I wait the 10 days which is the amount of time the lady had told me to wait and that i shall receive a phone call to say that my new glasses have arrived. I wait around two weeks for a phone call and then decide to go into store to see if they have arrived, speak to another consultant (which did not seem to bothered whether i was being served or seem to be very responsive when i was talking to her about what had happened) the sales consultant had told me that i never ordered the glasses and that there is no way possible that i could have ordered the glasses without having to pay for them, being very rude and using a tone and demeanor that was just not acceptable to speak to customers specially when I as a customer and a student am spending a lot of money in their institution just for a pair...
Read moreArrogant staff that speaks between them all the time. Went many times at boots pharmacy and every time I asked them for a product they always look at me and tell me they don't know about this product. I asked if they had cleaning spray for the ears, which I found in all the countries I lived in the past, and the shop assistant told me she never heard of a spray that cleans the ear.. Like really?? Do you live under a rock? She told me to buy a spray for ear infections, which has no sense whatsoever with what I asked her! Another time I asked if they had shampoo Vichy which is the most used shampoo in all the world and in UK, and she looked at me and told me she never heard of the shampoo Vichy, really? and you work in a pharmacy shop? Overall staff is unqualified and rude. I give only 3 stars for the shop itself and the products but your staff deserves 0! Update:I live in Bath and go to Boots frequently due to being the only makeup shop in this small town and UK not having other shops like sephora which is 130% better than this, I have been blocked by boots on Instagram for commenting on one of their posts đ British 'education' at...
Read moreAs a visitor from overseas I went into this store and encountered two of the rudest employees. The lift wasnât working I had my grandchild in a pram and needed the pharmacy section. The lift wasnât working which is absolutely no problem but you needed the assistance of staff to use the staff/Delivery lifts. Talk about putting one sales girl out my goodness what a sour young woman! Forgive me for needing to exit your store after spending money in it! When purchasing my products I asked if I could have a plastic bag and the man said we donât have them. Which is fine even a good thing but I needed something and he offered me absolutely nothing! When I bent down to attend my Grandson there were paper bags with Boots written across them right where he served me. Pick up your game or get a job you actually enjoy as your giving the company you work for a bad reputation. Thankfully there was a gorgeous lady working there to make up for all the glum miserable others ! It didnât make a good impression to start my day off in a tourist city like Bath I can tell...
