It's fair to say that this establishment is a hidden treasure in Bath. Upon arrival, I was seen to straight away, given the appropriate menu (they offer a selection of menus as shown in one of the photos below), and seated in a prompt but friendly manner. Once seated, the waiter took my drink order and returned in less than a minute with the drinks. I ordered the Cosy Club Sandwich (as shown in the photo's below) and within ten minutes it was at my table so I feel that it's fair to say that the waiting times are minimal. The food prices are very reasonable and the quality is excellent. The staff are exceptionally attentive and are always available. The atmosphere is lively, adding to the pleasant dining experience, with music suited to the decor of this establishment. I definitely recommend the Cosy Club and will 100% be returning in the near future. A huge thank you to the staff that made this a very pleasant visit.

Popped in to catch up with an old friend. She chose the Cosy Club in the city of Bath as she was a regular there. I gave them another chance, as on the last two occasions they were let down by the service as she was very pushy, rude and rushed even if we were only two tables in the whole place at lunchtime. This visit was much better! We had two bottles of NZ Sauvignon Blanc between the two of us with 4 small plates. We spent almost £100 in total. I wasn't impressed with the starters at all. Very tiny or small as described, the taste was okay with nothing to write home about or returning soon based on food. The service was good this time, we felt relaxed, and they left us enjoying our time! Or perhaps it was in a bar area. All in all, we had a lovely time here with good company! My friend recommended breakfast here.

Self explanatory, this restaurant is as the name suggest, cosy. Great atmosphere, decor and there's even an outdoor seated balcony for when the weather suits. The food is reasonable but not recommendable. I ordered the flat iron steak cooked medium and a crayfish roll. The steak was somehow both chewy and bloody, i would have been accepting to one or the other but not both. The crayfish roll was again somewhat lack luster. Being an unashamedly gluttonous lowlife of a person than I am, I finished off my colleagues left over Fried Halloumi starter. The halloumi with the chilli jam, this, I recommend. Overall, feel this place would be a great place for a few drinks and appetising sides. But not so much if you're looking for a decent meal.

We booked the cosy club for my wife’s birthday. Due to lock down ruining everything for everyone, we finally got the chance to book bath this year. Cosy club stood out for my wife, it had its quirky style, good menu and tasty looking cocktails. When we arrived, the gentleman booking us in even said he’d put us at a better table than the auto reservation had selected for us, which was nice.

However, we were told parts of the menu had been crossed off. Some dishes were un-order-able, no massive issue but a bit of a shame, when the dish you’d selected a few days before from their online menu was now taken away.

When seated we were looked after by our waitress who self confessed stated she’d mucked up already that evening. No worries, we all make mistakes.

The first for us, was when the wrong meal came to us. With even the waitress being slightly accusatory about who ordered what. ‘No we defiantly didn’t order the chicken in béchamel sauce’.

No worries, please rectify and everything will be fine. We already had our starter of a sharing Camembert, which was lovely.

The waitress came to apologise about the incorrect dish being requested. No bother. It’s fine.

The gentleman from the entrance came over to ask if we would like extra drinks on the house because of the mistake. We had already ordered a beer and two of their cocktails. Again, very nice of them to rectify their error, we’ll have the same again……

The same again never came.

After we had finished our meals of chicken burger and pork belly which was very nice, we asked for the bill and mentioned that we were promised extra drinks to which the waitress said that the concierge mentioned that they are deducting the drinks…

We did ask for the same again.. but.. ok.

Whatever, we’d like to leave now.

We then got given a receipt with the two cocktails deducted but not the beer…

We thought all drinks may have been deducted?

So, all in all, a nice decor’d establishment with nice food, but be aware of the lack of attention...

I had really high hopes for this place as the decor seemed really nice and the menu looked good. However, it was possibly the worst service I have ever received!

A group of 10 of us arrived on Saturday afternoon. We got a table on balcony and queued at the bar for drinks and food. It took me 15 minutes to be served at the bar and then when my order was taken the barman took at at least 15/20 minutes to make 3 cocktails.

The wrong food was brought to our table several times. The first time the waiter snapped at us as we told him it was definitely not our order. The second time the food came the order matched ours, we checked it was for out table number, so we took it and started eating it. We were then told it was actually for the table next to ours and that our food would be coming out shortly.

Our food came out but we were still missing a dish. When we complained about this, the manager told us it was our fault because we 'took another tables food'. The other table were also complaining to the manager and waitresses as there had been so many mistakes between our two tables.

When complaining to a waitress, the waitress appeared to take offence and told the other table 'They were pretty rude', storming off and slammed the door!

I was also overcharged for a cocktail. The worst part was the man at the bar assured me he only charged me for 3 cocktails. I went back calculated it and he had charged me for 4. So he had bare face lied to me about it. When I went back to complain he explained it was because somebody else on the table had ordered a cocktail and they hadn't paid, so basically he lied to me so I would pay for the other drink on my table, despite it not being me who had actually paid for.

Just an actual shambles!!! Food and cocktails were nice and so was decor. However service was just the...

Very disappointing. Yearly get together with work for a Christmas meal. Started with a shared plate of which you had one of each, I've had better in a selection pack from the supermarket. The main meals are definately not prepared and cooked at the venue, I'm guessing bought in and microwaved. Main was the Wellington, pastry was not crisped but like it had come from the microwave, a few sprouts that were so shriveled they almost identified as peas, mash, a piece of carrot and parsnip. All plated up to look good, but again a ready meal would of been better. Christmas pudding for dessert nothing special. What made it worse is on booking we were reassured that they were nut allerrgy safe, which is why we chose the cosy club, sadly this wasn't the case, one-of our party who has a nut allergy sat with a small plate of cheese as her main with some very sad grapes and just to finish off was offered the same as her dessert. As they couldn't guaranty anything on the menu would be nut free and may contain traces of nuts. We wouldn't of booked if we had known and been told the truth on booking. There are different types of restaurants ones with freshly prepared homecooked good quality food and those that serve mass produced bought in microwaved food and plate it up to look fancy. I know which I prefer my spend my money on, but appreciate everyone has different standards and taste. On a positive the cosy club was well decorated, looked very fesitive and would be great for just a drink....
