Ruposhi Indian Takeaway — Local services in Bath

Tried to get a meal and it was scheduled for 1 - 1.5 hours on a sunday, so I cancelled. 2 hours later the food turned up whilst I was in the bath. When I said OK I will take it the delivery guy said no as he will have to pay for it. I suspect i will and this is a con. So I did not get the food and will have to fight to get my money back. If I had been given the food (2 hours later I would have paid for it as I had not eaten). But when I tried to have the food they said that they would have to pay for it, but I am still concerned I will end up paying for it, so I let them have it back. I obviously should have taken the food as I suspect I will still have to pay for it. They forced me into handing the food back, but why would they go to the effort. What an absolute shower and what a con, please do not use this restaurant. I am sure that they have another story but I ordered food and was told it would take hours, then tried to cancel, then when was forced out of the bath hours later and explained the position, they would not allow me to have the food and I suspect I will still have to pay for everything. Don't use a company/restaurant like this it all appears...

Delivery took 1 hour 15 mins on a Wednesday night vs the 40 mins I was told. No huge complaint there. On arrival the food was not the hottest. The rice looked fine - fragrant. After heating the curry up I covered my rice with a very oily chicken tikka Jalfrezi:8 pieces of chicken, standard. The peshwari bread, although slightly soggy was fair. I'm not wholly sure if I'd go back. The Jalfrezi, was not typical typical of the dish. The sauce was thick and oily and there was no big chillis present...no doubt they were chopped. Started out amazing food then for some reason the food and taste quality dropped on my later orders. Often very greasy and without flavour. Also very disappointed that you've raised the food for one bundle from £14 immediately to £17. That's a big jump! We're already in a cost of living crises and don't see why we're being forced now by our local takeaways when we want to spend our hard earned cash on a nice bit of food and we're subject to further massive percentage increases. Any opportunity to generate more revenue and all businesses are on the bandwagon. For those reasons I think a 3 star is...
