Little Lantern — Local services in Bolton

ABSOLUTLY DISGUSTING!!!!!

Been using this place for over 6years. over the past few month the meals have been hit and miss but just took this as busy periods and we do live right on the edge of the area they cover. But tonight we have paid £28 for a meal which when we sat down to eat we left more than 3/4 of the plate as there was just no taste. And tasted like pure salt and the chicken was dry and also the chips were still hard in the center. We contacted the shop to say we could not eat the food as it was genuinely not edible for the manger on the phone to just say I am sorry and I will pass your message onto the chef and was leaving it as that and did not offer a refund considering there was more than 3/4 of the hole order left or Evan to re make the food for us. She continued to be very unhelpful and say we do not give refunds as the food now will not be able to be re heated to be sold on as it is a popular dish at this point was Evan more shocked and makes me wonder weather the past meals we have had from them over the months that have also not been very good has the been re heated food. At the end of the day any restaurant take away and business that is to sell any type of product that is not satisfactory should offer for the item to be re made or a refund to be issued not to be told there is nothing that can be done.

Will never be using this place again and will never recommend absoluty discussing customer service.

And if I could offer less that 1 star I would but google will not...

Where to start, I've been a customer of little lantern for over 12 years and I can well and truly say it's hit rock bottom, the quality of the food has plummeted and also the way it's cooked. The salt and pepper chips were raw, proper raw though not just undercooked. Pathetic how you can even get that wrong? Simple chips.....The shredded beef in sweet chilli sauce is simply awful (never ever used to be) the beef is as thin as hair and sauce is non existent. I don't know what has happened, has the chef been changed or do they just not give a toss anymore?? For all these reasons, me nor my family will be eating elsewhere from now on, there are far better options than Little Lantern thesedays. The only thing that has been consistent over the years is Tam the delivery driver, always polite, get a new job mate before these lot ruin you. STAY WELL CLEAR OF THE PLACE....

First time I have ever used Little Lantern, first time I've paid to have food delivered, and to be honest, it's the first time I've ordered Chinese food for YEARS!!! I love it but I don't drive and there isn't one walkable near me. Anyway, I was absolutely satisfied with what I got from Little Lantern. I ordered large egg fried rice, sweet sour chicken, and Thai green curry chicken. Fair portions which will do me for the next day or two. Ordered online and it said about 90min for delivery but it actually came 30min earlier so I was very pleased about that. The driver even came up 3 flights of stairs to deliver to me and he was friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend it and I will definitely use Little Lantern again. Thank you so much for my...
