Pros: Booking in was easy and the lady on the phone was very helpful.

Work was done quickly.

Cons: Called me to say failed MOT and what work needed to be done but didn’t call to say the work had been completed, and I had to call 6 times before someone picked up 20 minutes before they closed so had to rush down to pick up my car.

The price was quoted without VAT which I didn’t find out until I went to pay and it was £50 more than I was expecting.

Didn’t bother putting the locking wheel nut and manual back in the glove box, just left them thrown on the passenger seat.

I’m pretty used to communication being bad with most garages and having to call to find out what’s going on but this takes the biscuit. I can’t fault the work and everyone I did manage to speak to was polite and the woman was especially nice. Price seemed reasonable but the extra VAT was a nasty and unnecessary surprise, just tell me the full cost. Overall just OK in the grand...

I have now used this garage 3 or 4 times and always will as long as I'm in the area.

They seem to know their stuff, they are very helpful, HONEST and not just on the make.... Really unusual thee days to find this. - Especially if you a re a woman.

I cannot recommend this garage highly enough. I had a catalytic converter & exhaust fitted at kwikfit and it was never right from that day forward. several return visits to kwikfit plus services and work elsewhere 5 years on, he put it right. It had been done badly in the first place with very poor quality parts which had made it fail every MOT since. When I took it to kwikfit for an MOT, they would tell me the engine warning light and MOT failure was due to a faulty CAT and that it would need replacing... At that point I would tell them it was kwikfit in the first place they would just turn off the engine warning light. Moral of the story - Avoid chains...

I’m a new driver and know nothing about cars and would panic really hard if something pops up on the dashboard. I’m new to the UK and the first time I visited this garage was basically searched on google and saw the review was pretty good. I just rang and ask if I could pop over to get the car checked whenever there’s a problem with my mini and they always said yes. They’re really helpful and professional and got the problem solved every time. They didn’t take advantage of me because I knew nothing about cars instead they explained what’s happening to me patiently. Sorry for the bad English it’s my second language haha.
