After a filling had fallen out of my wisdom tooth and not having an NHS dentist I was left with a big problem. I contacted night and day emergency dentist via watsapp and was offered an appointment almost immediately. I arrived alone and quite scared. I was welcomed with smiles and was seen straight away. Unfortunately the only way to resolve my problem was with an extraction. I was shown my X-ray and given my options including the longevity of the results. Extraction was the best way to proceed. Having had other wisdom teeth out before and needing my gums cut and stitched to remove them, I expected to be in lots of pain and discomfort during and after the procedure. This was not the case. I was given lots of analgesia injections and could not feel a thing. The dentist and the nurse constantly checked on me throughout. It happend quickly and efficiently- Iām talking minutes which for a wisdom tooth extraction is incredible. For me this helped as I didnāt have time to stress about it. After the procedure the dentist made sure I was ok and gave me aftercare advice, a printed sheet of how to care for my extraction site and myself, additional gauze to replace what was packed in after the extraction and a private prescription for antibiotics. Yes it is expensive! But with people in pain and not having access to an NHS dentist these people are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was extremely nervous walking into the building at first, however I was quickly put at ease by the friendly staff. Once I was seen, and had the assessment, I was given 2 clear options, both of which were explained well to me.
I ended up going with an extraction, which costed me £895 on top of the pre-payed £50 for the consultation. They do also have options incase you cannot afford the treatments offered, including paying monthly, for a certain amount of months.
While getting the treatment, the dentist and nurse were both super understanding, and patient with me, and listened to me whenever I said I needed a break. The dentist was reassuring, and explained every step of the way; and ended up getting my tooth out, and did a fantastic job at it. I have not had any problems since the procedure. The nurse was very welcoming as well, and we had a lovely talk. I was prescribed some antibiotics for after the extraction, and they have followed up with me after my appointment to make sure everything was alright, and let me know that I can go back if I need too.
They also allowed me to take photos of my x-ray, and take my tooth with me, which was great!
I would highly recommend coming here if you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām very disappointed with my experience.
I visited the clinic because I had pain around my wisdom tooth. I explained this to the dentist, but the treatment I received was a root canal on a different tooth (which I didnāt believe was the issue).
I paid Ā£450 upfront for the treatment, plus a Ā£50 consultation fee. The appointment lasted around 15 minutes, and I didnāt feel that my concerns were properly listened to or addressed.
I contacted the clinic the next day to explain that I was still in pain, and I was advised to wait 5 days. At no point was I offered a review appointment for the following day, despite what was later claimed in the clinicās public response to my review.
Unfortunately, my symptoms didnāt improve at all, and I eventually had to visit another local dentist, who quickly diagnosed the actual problem.
Based on my personal experience, I would not return to this clinic, and I would encourage others to consider this...
