Tesco Cafe — Restaurant in Bristol

Service is long... Need one person taking order on till and one doing hot drinks waited like 10 mins to be served due to person taking orders also having to make hot drinks revisited again on 26/04/19 and same issue occurred this time I dint get.to have a breakfast normally the nice lady would get the guy to make the breakfast if I mentioned that I wanted a breakfast this time.she told.me.to wait as she needs to ring it Through. I also rang tesco customers service he was quite rude told me that how cafe are which is not the case as I've worked in busy cafe with 4 staff, Personally in my opinion after taking part I many hygiene courses, the person handling money should not be doing any catering as money carrys germs... On today's visit I also seen the one preparing food pick up the hash browns out the fryer drainer and put them onto a customers plate. When he should really be using tongs.. I understand people have to wait and there are queues my main issue is that waiting to be long to be served at the till if there is four ppl at the till it should not take over 10/15 minutes to put your order in just because till person has to make numerous amount of hot drinks. food can't be made until the order has been rang through its aslo slightly annoying that the food normally come quicker than the time it takes to...

We had very poor service at this cafe today by a rude young woman who didn’t apologise that they had no food to offer in spite of the advertising boards at the bottom and the top of the stairs stating otherwise. We decided to buy sandwiches in the very large Tesco Extra downstairs and eat them in the cafe as we had anticipated having some lunch before meeting up with our son. When my husband went back to the counter to ask for 2 glasses of water she quipped in a surly tone…’come back for your cake then?’….I wouldn’t normally have posted this but since I received a message to rate the service I decided I would. We then bought a couple of items and went to sit in Greggs where I was charged £1.70 for a coffee and served by a very pleasant older woman who called for someone to serve as she could see I was waiting. I was then served coffee in a polite manner by a young man. If you want a coffee and snack in Tesco Extra in Brislington, Bristol I’d suggest you call into Greggs where the service and coffee is pleasant and it’s near the entrance. I think the young woman in the cafe may need some more training or she’s in...

Normally I'd leave a pic and a review on my food but after watching all the people that were behind me in the queue receive their food which was around half hour I went up to enquire where our food was only to find that they hadn't got my order much less done or started it.....I had a refund as we couldn't stay and wait any longer,,,,,,,,,just of late they seem to be making to many mistakes ,,,,the staff are lovely as a rule,,,,,,food is usually good,,, if ya get it that is,,,whatever ya do don't get a panini they're soggy more like microwaved not toasted ( I've saw crispier and stiffer socks) and the filling is so meagre (I've saw an ant carry more than what's in them)it's a waste of money ,,,twice I've ordered them and both times they've been awful,,,never again not even if I was starved and that was all...
