Have been visiting for many years to stop for a coffee. Decided to visit today for food too and began to place my order with the lady at the till with dark hair. The lady that took my order was incredibly rude! Noticeably rolling her eyes at me and when my neurodivergent child was struggling to make a decision at the till she said “Hurry up; I’ve got other customers to serve” her colleagues looked mortified as she proceeded to go on to say “that got him moving” when he had made his decision. This lady was rude throughout, clearly was having a bad day and made the whole atmosphere uncomfortable for both customers and colleagues. At one point this lady shouted aggressively to “get more forks now” to a colleague and the whole thing was just very uncomfortable. So much so that I will not be re visiting which is a shame as we have been visiting here for many years. The lady that brought our meal out was lovely and the food was nice , just a shame that the actions of one clearly irritated employee has the ability to ruin it...

Amazing place to take kids! Very clean, very cheap!! And kids can play all day -} even if u leave the building! Must get stamped thou.

Cheeky monkeys is a place we will visit again. The staff was very welcoming. We ate lunch there also. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. Very reasonably priced. The coffee shop within cheeky monkeys offered a very wide range of hot and cold drinks. The restaurant have a standard menu with specials daily! The whole building is constantly being improved and you could miss cheeky monkeys if you do not know it is there! Visited yesterday with my family. All I can say is would not recommend and would not visit again. The lady with the dark hair in a bun that was serving behind the counter was rude. She answered questions abruptly and in a manner that made us all feel uncomfortable and like we were being a bother. This is unacceptable as a paying customer. The food was cold and down right disgusting. There were flies flying all over the restaurant and no fly preventers/ stoppers in sight. The whole restaurant in general was filthy and the toilets were absolutely minging. Would rather eat off the pavement outside than in this building. Couldn't pay me to visit...
