Saltys fish and chips — Restaurant in East Lindsey

Just been in and tried the cooked breakfast, my brother ordered a large which is only £5 and comes with 3 eggs, bacon, sausages black pudding, beans, tinned tomatoes, hash browns, mushrooms and toast. I ordered a normal size breakfast which is only £3 and consisted of 2 eggs, bacon, sausages, hash browns mushrooms, beans, tinned tomatoes and toast. The place is very cheap but then again you get what you pay for, my bacon had burnt stuff off the pan all over it, the sausages are very cheap, the black pudding my brother had wasn't cooked and looked like bit had been dropped in the deep fat fryer and so had the fried bread. The decor is more than tired itsi wall's have been psinpai white, so you can see all the dirt and damp over the walls, and the many light fittings have blown bulbs. They advertise lunches as well but they have no cooker only microwaves, a deep fat fryer and a griddle so everything is modt lightly frozen. It's okay if you like cheap microwaved oror grea spoon...

Excellent Breakfasts! Can't go wrong cheap & cheerful. Very simple on the inside but that's what to expect for the price. It was clean and staff were very quick. Will definitely return in the future!

Update 2023 (What A Downgrade )

As we loved it here we decided to return and was so disappointed 😔 the teas and coffees had soured milk, the toasted teacake was stale. My partner had the £6 breakfast and he said it was not as good as before and left half of it. I had the bacon cob and the cob was dry and the bacon was really salty. The owner was walking around with his belly hanging out of his top and wasn't being very friendly also talking to a customer happily how he had the bailiffs in due to uppaid rent just a massive downgrade and unprofessional we won't be returning. Popped in here for a bite to eat with my little boy. We went up and were abruptly told the order time was long as only 2 were working. The next lady came up and told us this again, we were fine with this. Ordered and sat and waited. But in this time I saw the taller lady snap at people who were asking how long their food would be. One, a polite older lady just asked if it would be much longer, she got her head bit off. If they were that stressed, they should of stopped taking orders. It made the place very quiet and awkward. I ate up and just wanted to leave with my family. The next day we went across to the Italian place near by and were met with a much better attitude.
