Chung Ying — Local services in Great Britain

This is the only cash and carry that stocks my favourite miso soup brand and Japanese curry paste (300g). It is situated right behind Glasgow Caledonian University. There is adequate parking space however the inside could really do with some updating. That aside, there is decent asian vegetables, curry powders, paste, frozen food etc. Some things can be over priced due to import charges some are reasonably priced. The store was very quiet today. To be honest it has been much quieter generally since the butcher left some years ago. A lot more freezers now than previously and stock levels in general not that great. It is still a good place to visit for authentic spices etc but larger stores have have greater variety . Love this supermarket, I have been shopping here for years for things like Fishballs, Fish Tofu, fresh Kimchi, fresh pok choi, and various imported soft drinks, it's great to see that despite other oriental supermarkets in Glasgow closing, this one remains open and reasonably well stocked.
