Follie — Local services in Lincoln

I absolutely love Follie! Although we live in Oxfordshire, my partner is from Lincoln, so whenever we are in town I always make sure to stop by. What first caught my eye was the genius and beautifully executed branding (well done, Number 75 Design!), but I quickly fell in love with the shop itself. The jewelry is both affordable and high quality, and I especially adore the Follie-made Lincoln Bailgate items like the tote bag and mug. The owner is also so sweet and kind.

Beyond the lovely selection, Follie will forever hold a special place in my heart. It is where my partner’s mum and my parents met for the very first time. My parents had traveled all the way from the United States to meet my partner’s family. While my partner and I grabbed coffee next door, my parents happened to wander into Follie at the exact same time as my partner’s mum, who had popped in before we were all meant to meet at the cathedral. My partner and I then walked in, shocked to see our parents were all together, unbeknownst to them! It was such a sweet and serendipitous introduction. Follie will always have a special place in our hearts. My mom ended up buying the Follie Bailgate tote bag which she proudly carries...

From the moment you step into this charming shop, you're greeted with a warmth that feels like coming home. It's always my first port of call whenever I'm in need of a special gift or simply want to lift my spirits on a gloomy day. The store is a treasure trove of beautiful items, so much so my friends always want to go when they come to visit!

What also sets this place apart, though, is Josie and her team. They're not just friendly; they bring a level of enthusiasm and helpfulness that makes every visit a delight.

It's really is one of my favourite shops in the city, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone looking for that special something – be it for a loved one or a treat for themselves. Just make sure you've had payday as trust me you'll want to...

I stumbled across Follie on instagram liked immediatly, loving photos of jewellery, candles, candle sticks etc.

My husband worked in Lincoln on and off for a few months, as he was away for my birthday, our wedding anniversary and even Valentine’s Day, Follie became his go to buy gifts. Josie helped him pick out perfect gifts each hand wrapped in pink tissue.

I have bought beautiful vintage glass pieces which Josie has posted to me, along with gifts for friends and family.

We live in North Wales I wish we had a shop as nice as Follie and a shop owner as lovely as Josie nearer...
