Barbican Cinema 1 — Local services in London

Yes, everyone mentioned how projecting it is to get around the Barbican, it's true.

Cinema 1 is worth seeking out for a film one evening though. The understated bar and seating area serves some posh sweets, bags of popcorn and a variety of drinks from water to lager to wine.

The cinema space is immaculately kept, the seats are larger than average with plenty of leg room. The screen is big and most seats have a good view.

A very nice and cozy Cinema hall in the Barbican Centre. They show mainstream movies for a very cheap price. For an instance a 3D movie on Monday would cost you less than £10. Cinema 1 hall is reasonably big, I didn't expect it to be that big to be honest. The screen is also very nice. Wish it was bit bigger. The staff is very friendly and kind. Clean setup. Located in the lowest level of the Barbican Centre, cinema 1 is the largest of the Barbican's cinemas. It shows a selection of new releases as well as showing a variety of old films.
