We have been going to Pham Sushi, ever since it first opened in a tiny place at Whitecross street. It was great to see them succeed and expand by opening their current venue after a few years.

While we don't go there as often as we used to,thanks to WFH and other reasons, we do make it a point to go when in the vicinity. This time was the first time after the lockdown lifted, and I wasn't sure given the current state of hospitality what to expect. But, were we pleasantly surprised. The prices were not out of the whack for a fish supper and the food delicious and fresh.

We ordered the chicken karage and agedashu tofu to share as starters, both yum.

Followed by - the premium bento box - at 29.5 it's a steal for what comes with it - 3 different kinds of sashimi -tuna, salmon and think turbot, salad, pickles, 2 different kinds of white fish - sushi/tuna roll, soup and salad. Tasty and filling.

Hubby ordered - udon noodle soup with prawn tempura, chicken. Again very delicious. Each had a pint of Asahi. Dessert - ice-cream with fresh fruit. Total bill including...

Based on the reviews I saw for this place I was looking forward to try it out. I tried to book a reservation on multiple occasions (early Jan) no one answered the phone, didn't make much of it. Checked the website and shows they are open from noon on weekdays. Turn up on a Friday at the time they were supposed to open to see a flimsy note on the door they don't open till later in Jan! - No note on their website, or message on their contact number. I decided to let this slide as these things can happen. Next time I manage to get through and make a reservation for Saturday (I should of checked to see they open from 5PM on Saturday) but the person I spoke to said they were open from 12 noon on Saturday - Clearly not I am glad I checked the website again before going out.

Although I am the very few who will review the restaurant low, Im sure they serve great food based on other reviews. However it would be nice to have closure notices on their tel line and website and not just a flimsy note. And for their stuff members to know...

The restaurant's ambiance shows promise, with an interesting and authentic look complemented by pleasant background music. Unfortunately, this initial positive impression was quickly overshadowed by disappointing service and mediocre food. The service was frustratingly slow, with the waitstaff appearing disinterested and unmotivated. This lack of attentiveness significantly detracted from the dining experience. As for the food, the sushi was average at best, failing to justify its high price point. The portions were noticeably small, leaving much to be desired. Including water and a service charge, the total came to nearly £25, which felt overpriced for the quality and quantity received. While the restaurant's atmosphere has potential, the combination of poor service, unremarkable food, and inflated prices makes it difficult to recommend. There's significant room for improvement in both the kitchen and...

Came here to catch up with some ex-colleagues. I believe this is probably the newer branch? Which is why we decided to come here, so everything was clean, modern and had a pretty nice vibe to it. Food.. I ordered the Chirashi (Sashimi + Rice, £12), which was pretty nice, fish was fresh and delicious - but there wasn't enough rice.. Most dishes seems fairly priced for a restaurant in central, BUT.. what really annoyed me was that.. green tea costs £3?????? (That's 25% of the actual cost of my meal!) Though, they do come and refill your cups when it's empty.. but still, £3? I only drank 2 cups in the end. Good place to go and try to tick off the list, not a place to go again imo. Oh, staff seemed nice too.

You can never go wrong with Pham, the whole experience is amazing, from the staff, to the food. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is clean, comfortable and has a welcoming feel to it. Whatever you order on the menu, you will never be disappointed. The food is fabulous and freshly cooked. Some of my favourite dishes are the deep fried squid tentacles and the chicken gyoza’s, you can see them in the pictures I have provided. It is a must go to place to eat if you live in London or not. 5 star from me!
