As someone who works in a retail store in the same area I always give good customer service and I expect the same when I am in a store. I went in to the store to buy cold and flu tablets that need authorisation. Fine it happens as always with age restricted products. However when I said "excuse me" a lady (didn't get the name) filling up paracetamol next to the self service tills replied "one minute" and carried on what she was doing. I looked around for someone, and not knowing they could authorise it away from the tills, I waited. She then looked up and said "it's done" in quite a cold manner. I turned around to the colleague behind me, I believe his name was Kaled? And I explained she was quite rude. He made excuses for her and didn't acknowledge my complaint at all. He just walked over to her as I left. You say "sorry 1 minute someone will authorise it" and then after "oh it's been authorised you can pay now" while facing the customer. This cold attitude and continuation of work, ignoring the customer, is just wrong. I wasn't going to wait for a store manager because they would make excuses too. I could have been a mystery shopper for all they knew. Manners are important and I expect polite...
Read moreWorst Boots in London I've been too. There are only self-checkout tills which means employees are just aimlessly wondering out not helping out customers. I asked an employee to apply my students discount offer to my card, and he declined based on the fact that it was my mother's card and not mine. How stingy and low-life do you have to be to decline such a small thing based on protocol? I have done it before without any problems. It's my mother's card not a stranger's for gods sake, and he can evidently see as the card has the SAME surname as mine. I hope he gets fired. For one simple thing, he made me call Boots Customer Services Team 1000 times and made me waste so much time. Please don't approach this Boots Store, it's tiny, doesn't have the best range of products and has one of the worst employees. Also don't approach any employee there who looks like an old white frail skinny man with glasses, and looks like he's going through a mid-life crisis. Avoid at all cost,...
Read moreI have placed an order to be picked from Moorgate store on 20th of Jan. I have never received the text to collect the order. Called customer services and they said it has been collected !!!!! Although on my app it states differently and asked me to go to store again and check. Had to travel again today to the store but the staff called Fabiha said she cannot accommodate customer services request and I have to go another time for them to check . There was no queue , no customer was waiting to be served . Just laziness because I watched her for a while and she was tidying up the baskets!
Not only Boots has stolen my money in a Broad day light and lied to my face, made me to travel to store twice without receiving any services.
Service is failing rapidly. I think it is time for the regulators to interfere! What do I do about the stolen parcel? I have no idea so my suggestion: AVOID
PS: would have given 0...
