Finding a florist for your wedding can feel overwhelming as there are so many options and you worry about the overall cost. We had three different venues in and outside of Cambridge on our wedding day, which also made things logistically ambitous. I got in contact with Blue Sky Flowers because I was drawn to their designs and they were wonderful from start to finish! Liz Indigo Jones got what we were trying to achieve straight away, creatively helped us stick within our budget and produced the most STUNNING flowers in all three locations. We had an epic tall arch framing the chapel exit (it made be cry when I saw it!), sophisticated large flower displays in urns, foliage draped around the high beams in our party venue and beautiful flowers flowing down the centre of all of our tables. Liz's team moved the flower displays between our venues too throughout our wedding day, so we could make the most of them and be clever on costs. As a big plant and flower lover, the florist for our wedding was always going to be my most important supplier decision. I spoke to a number of florists but immediately clicked with Liz, she understood exactly the 'loose and natural' look I was wanting to achieve. A market visit to look at our flower options only solidified my trust in her and I had no hesitation in letting Liz make all the floral decisions based on my vision. We were one of the weddings affected by the pandemic and we moved from spring to autumn, which made a big difference to the flowers available but also the colours/tones of different seasons.
