We weren’t too hungry so got the kids shawarma that comes with fries from Shatta & Toum and then shared the Taiwanese fried chicken from Bao. Total was over £30 Both were very disappointing and overpriced. The fries were good as we were able to eat with no salt pepper or condiments (none were provided on the table). The flavours in the shawarma were neither sufficient nor balanced. The portion of fried chicken was laughable for the price (£9.75). It was essentially 5 nuggets. The food seemed to be loosely inspired by the cuisine of the category it belonged to (Middle Eastern, Taiwanese etc) but the food does not possess the authenticity or distinct flavours. I was also surprised at the sauce served with the fried chicken. I received about 2 sneezes worth of sauce which was not sufficient for the chicken (which is saying something as the portion of chicken was small). I think the sauce was nice but could barely get enough on my piece of chicken to really tell. It was served in a flimsy take a way plastic which I found weird as we dined in. The chicken was supposed to come with chilli oil which we didn’t receive. The backrest of the seats on the booths are also weirdly far from the table so you’re weirdly on the edge of your seat the whole time. Music was unsettling. Think bad nightclub music. Maybe it was to invoke the chaos of an ‘arcade’. In theory it’s a lovely concept which lots of different cuisines from around the world in one place (Mexican,Nepali,Thai etc) but execution is lazy from what I experienced. If you eat to satisfy hunger and don’t mind over priced food go for it. If you enjoy the experience of food and flavour I wouldn’t advise. Easily my first and last time but staff were lovely !

The Arcade Food Hall, nestled in the iconic Battersea Power Station, is nothing short of a gastronomic wonderland. Each stall tells a unique culinary story, bringing global flavours under one magnificent roof. The Momos are an absolute revelation! Delicate, flavorful and served steaming hot, they transport you straight to the Himalayan foothills. The flatbreads, pillowy and aromatic, make for the perfect canvas for a symphony of toppings and condiments. A moment of silence, though, for the Indonesian stall which has sadly closed. Their offerings were truly a love letter to Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage. I find myself reminiscing about their dishes even now. The Prawn Tempura Curry is a masterclass in balance — the light, crispy tempura juxtaposed with a rich and flavorful curry is sheer perfection. But the crown jewel, the pièce de résistance, has to be the Gunpowder Crispy Potatoes. With an explosive taste and a texture to die for, they are, quite simply, the stuff of legends. That said, the experience does come with its own quirks. Service can occasionally be sporadic, lending an air of unpredictability to your visit. And while the ambience and food quality warrant a premium, the prices do feel a bit steep even after considering the local employee discount and the 10% cashback on Revolut. In essence, Arcade Food Hall is a culinary tapestry of extraordinary delights, albeit with a price tag to match. If you’re looking to treat your palate to a world tour, there’s no better place in Battersea!

Scrap your ideas of what a food hall can do… at Arcade the dishes are ridiculously tasty. You can tell that some incredible chefs are behind this menu. It was busy on Saturday lunch time, with a great vibe, upbeat music and ambient lighting, elevating the whole experience. Very thoughtful setup of a central kitchen and maximum use of space for seating. The decor is gorgeous art deco diner-style with comfy booth seating options if you can nab one. You order from your table from any of the brands using the QR code which is super easy and the menu is very cleverly set out to identify specific needs like gluten free options. The cocktail menu was excellent! Table service is available and ample because they have enough helpful staff around, and everyone was so friendly. My favourite main dish was the chicken curry followed by the prawn toast, but honestly all meals we ordered just had me speechless at how tasty they were. Altogether we enjoyed the burnt chilli mussel butter flatbread, one of the mo-mo, chicken satay, prawn flatbread, chicken curry and cheesecake. I forgot to take a picture of the chicken curry as it looked so divine that I just inhaled it immediately. Promise me something: you might be full after the end of your mains, but GET THE CHEESECAKE. I have not been this adamant about a fact since claiming that Succession is the best TV show. Trust me.

Perhaps being one of the only major food offerings within Battersea Power Station it's really sad to say that currently the newly opened Arcade Food Hall just doesn't seem ready yet.

The communication from staff on the availability of food offerings seems quite muddled, the website that you scan and use for ordering and paying seems slow, doesn't show the complete menu and overall a quite disjointed experience.

We arrived as a group just under an hour after opening and proceeded to sit down and scan the menu QR code. After a few moments we looked at the availability of items and it appear vastly different from the menu displayed at the front of the entrance. We managed to get a traditional paper menu but was eventually told that majority of items are not be available - after asking for more details another member of staff appeared and said to return after midday but it would of been helpful to be told this earlier before sitting down. After leaving and then returning later on we were confused to why the lack of options remained. Please note: if you do happen to leave and return or move tables you must rescan the QR code at the new table to avoid any mix up with orders! And you must keep reloading the menu - menus/items do eventually appear but many seems to be "Sold Out/Unavailable" during our visit.

The food and drinks that we did order from the limited menu was decent and you cannot fault the variety in the food options.

Overall, I guess if show up before or just after midday please be prepared to be disappointed if the full menu isn't available to you oh and fully expect to queue if you do arrive in the afternoon.

The place does look super nice and stylish (even better than the Arcade Food Hall in Tottenham Court Road) but unfortunately the service and experience are just not at that level yet which is a shame. Given time we may return if we are ever at this...

I originally gave this food hall a high rating, because of the ambiance and decent food hall quality. The first time we ate here, they missed an item. Because we prepaid, the only thing we could do is alert one of the servers and wait. Ok, so grabbing a quick bite turned out to be not so quick after all. I gave this place high marks, because we all know this can happen anywhere. The second time, same situation. An item was not brought out and we have patiently waited for 15 minutes after we completed everything else. Called a wait staff and told him about it. He said he will look. After a while, nothing happened, so we told another staff. Nothing happened until a third staff walked by and asked if we needed anything and we told her what had happened. She said she will look. She came back and said they are making it now and will be brought out promptly. 10 minutes later the dish came out and we each took one bite, but running out of time so started putting on our coats. As we were ready to leave the First Gentleman we spoke to came and apologized and said he refunded that item to the credit card. Then he looked down and said “oh, it arrived!” The way this place is set up, you don’t actually have a server that takes care of you from start to finish. You have multiple servers that bring you food when they are prompted the food is ready. They relied on technology and don’t really ask you to make sure you have all food items delivered. I hope management fixes this. Maybe have a server confirm that all items have been delivered to the correct table by asking the customers at the table? Sadly, my partner refuses to come back here. Said the food was decent, but not good enough to deal with...
