honestly the most depressing place i have ever been in london or possibly even england. i donāt think anyone who works there or shops there has smiled, maybe ever. iāve been in here a few times for a prescription and usually am in there for 10x longer than the normal amount of time to be in a boots, simply because thereās hardly anyone working there or they just take 56 hours to move one limb to the counter. the most used sentence at the pharmacy counter is āsorry, we donāt have thisā, that is if they even have a pharmacist in the vicinity and they havenāt gone missing, on lunch break, or just not bothering to acknowledge your presence. the point of a pharmacy is to have pharmaceutical products i fear. they also take about 10 minutes to read a prescription, which is slightly worrying. whenever you do get served, it literally makes me want to book a holiday immediately to just experience one ounce of joy, one modicum of hope. honestly, 5 minutes in here is a lifetime of bleak depression. i suggest having a pharmacy with medication in it, some happy staff, and more than one...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited this Boots location and had an extremely disappointing experience with the pharmacist. I approached her politely, greeted her, and waited for assistance. Not only did she fail to acknowledge me, but she also refused to engage or offer any help, making it clear that she had no interest in assisting me.While I understand that everyone can have a bad day, there is no excuse for such unprofessional behavior in a customer service role. As a paying customer seeking assistance in a pharmacy, I expected at least basic courtesy and professionalism. Unfortunately, this pharmacist displayed neither. This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable, and I strongly believe that Boots should address this issue. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and receive the help they need, especially in a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI called in to this store today. I selected my items and went to the till at the front of the store to pay. I couldnāt pay as it was taking cash only (a large handwritten piece of paper says this but doesnāt say where one can pay by card and doesnāt say āpleaseāā¦..). I asked how I could pay by card and the shop assistant grunted something unintelligible and pointed towards the back of the shop. There I had to queue to use a self pay machine despite the fact that there was no queue at the ācash onlyā till. I almost walked out. Donāt these people realise that the customers pay their wages! The staff seemed indifferent, bored and unprofessional. I will shop...
