1/2 star, UPDATE: 21ST OF AUGUST2023 The 'owner' has reached out to after more than a month. Due, I would image to my review having over 1,000 views. In a market saturated with artisan ice cream and gelato, poor customer service doesn't help your marketshare nor does a glacial paced response to well deserved criticism XXXXXXXXXX Amazing products woefully let down by poor customer service. The staff have no idea that the person at the front of the que is the next to be served. Four staff in a tiny store that needs no more than 2 MAX. The staff work at a glacial pace, so by the time they have finished giving free ice cream tastes to people who have no intention of purchasing and those who want both coffee and ice cream, go to the coffee que to avoid waiting and are served next. The que system has fallen apart. The staff have no awareness of time or who has come into store. The staff through their chosen silence never ask- Who's next? Or Have you been served? Basic questions elude the staff. No communication between staff, it would be believable that they have taken a vow of silen e, such is the poor level of communication and interaction. Truly devalues the brand. Recommendation for Venchi- get a basic ice cream van and sell 99's Strong Recommendation for potential customers: try one of the many competitors on the Kings Rd who deliver the service you're hoping for and have a more rewarding experience Lamentable

Ice-cream and chocolate heaven! This is by far my favourite place for gelato in London. This gelato parlour is far superior to any others in my opinion. We came up to London for my birthday and went out of our way to visit. I had the dark chocolate sorbet (divine!) and mango sorbet and my husband had strawberry and vanilla ice-cream – all 4 flavours were great. Portion sizes are perfect and it really is a superior gelato. We sat inside. There aren’t many tables but we have always got a table and it feels like you are in a plush but light and bright place. In summer it’s lovely to sit outside. I’ve never bought chocolate here before but over-heard a customer discussing it with a member of staff so had a look and as it was my birthday we bought a bar. I don’t like things too sweet so bought a bar of 100% Cocoa South American. Ā£6.50 a bar which sounds expensive but the chocolate is rich and satisfying you just wouldn’t eat the same amount you would say from a normal chocolate bar. Staff were knowledgeable too about the types of chocolate.

Nice gelato but table were left dirty and no much cleaning on the tables .one of the staff start laughing when his colleague asked him on my query about the suitably for vegetarians. Felt embarrassed and out . Any way it was ok but expencive baby cone with one scoop is about 3.50 pounds. Chocolate sweets on pic a mix but all on different prices hence why was confusing . On query they told me that if you mix all will be on the higher price of 6.80 pounds per 100 gram . Queue system is confusing and you get the ticket on payment then while you choose your ice cream there is no much space for people behind you waiting and people who wants to get the ticket so you end up under pressure of the queue. If you have no where near to have gelato or ice cream then this place is ok .

šŸ¦šŸŒŸ Epic Flavour Adventures with Aneta and Shao āœØšŸ¦

Hold onto your tastebuds, folks! The Venchi vibe in Chelsea is next-level, and let me tell you, it's a taste explosion of epic proportions. When I rolled in with my partner-in-crime, we weren't ready for what was about to go down. Aneta was front and center, delivering a serious dose of excitement that matched the sizzling summer energy. She laid down the story about Venchi's history, a saga that's been running the show since the 1800s. And you won't believe it—upstairs is where the chocolate mastery happens, under the guidance of the head chocolate maestro. The cones, draped in chocolate, nut bling, coconut groove, and that superstar Cremino (Hazelnut)—it's like my taste buds went on a rollercoaster ride. šŸØšŸ«šŸ„„ The first hit? It set the stage for a major comeback!

But wait, there's more! Today, I'm back in the arena, and Shao is on the scene. The man's a true-blue gent, keeping the vibes as high as ever. šŸ™Œā˜€ļø It's like dĆ©jĆ  vu, with those chocolate-loaded cones and that silky Cremino (Hazelnut), paying homage to Venchi's legacy as a family game since the 1800s.

And let's not forget the first visit—a true flavour explosion. Me and the missus were posted up inside the shop, and that gold mirrored decor? šŸ”„ Like stepping into a chocolate wonderland. Enter Aneta with a curveball—a plate of free chocolates, boom! šŸ« Talk about elevating the game. And those dark chocolate wonders? Orange peel dipped in the rich stuff? Mind-blowing. And the mint dark chocolate? A whole new level of awesome. šŸŒæšŸ« That visit was a wild ride through a chocoholic's dream.

As I keep riding the Venchi wave, I've gotta give a major shout-out to Aneta's wisdom and Shao's hustle. These two are all about the flavors and the good times. Aneta set the stage, and Shao is keeping it lit. šŸ°šŸ‘Øā€šŸ³

More visits are locked and loaded, and I'm stoked to dive headfirst into that palette of tastes and soak in the absolute sensation that is the Aneta and Shao...

This place is very interesting and different from other ice cream shops. It not only sells ice cream (and crepes), but is also a chocolate shop! You can buy things like huge chocolate cigars! And exciting flavour truffles. You also get to chose different flavour CONES for your ice cream! I had a delicious cone with sweet melted milk chocolate over it, coated with coconut pieces, it was lovely. They also do raspberry, and I think caramel pieces. They have a small but interesting selection of sorbets from melon, to chocolate sorbet!! And an unusual range of ice creams in flavours like tirimasu! You won't find anything traditional like vanilla in here! I found the shop a really interesting experience, though I do have a couple of negatives: One, you pay BEFORE you choose your ice cream flavour, which is fine, but staff don't make this process clear, and tend to ignore you and serve other customers in the queue over you, because the ice cream servers only acknowledge you once you have an order receipt in your hand. And secondly, the ice creams are SO messy! You will need a lot of tissues to eat these things, as the small cones are quite narrow, so the ice cream hangs mainly OVER the sides, and the melted chocolate topped cones with sprinkles, make it even more problematic as it melts all round your mouth! They also need to LOSE the huge bitter chocolate pieces that they add to the ice cream, as they DONT taste nice. The chocolate chunks in the ice cream were so big and bitter, I had to pick them out. Still, the ice cream was lovely. But if you're like me, and like biting the bottom off the cone and sipping the ice cream through the hole, the chocolate chunks also interfear with this process, as the chocolate pieces partially block the hole!! So I ended up with ice cream and choclate dripping EVERYWHERE ! Still, it was a...

I’m a regular Venchi customer but I am never coming back to this branch. Appalling service and customer care.

I ordered 3x large ice cream cones with all the additional add ons (chocolate outside and inside at the bottom + nougatine). All 3 ice creams were TINY and was extremely light to hold compared to usual. I asked the server to please add more as I paid for the largest size, not the smallest, and he tells me that he cannot because ā€œthe ice cream is to soft to provide a normal scoopā€ā€¦whatever that means? He then offers to add a miniature little blob on top of only one of them, and even after that, overall it looked like about 2 scoops instead of the usual 4. I expressed my disappointed yet hey didn’t seem bothered.

We get to the bottom of the ice cream cone and realise neither of all 3 of us had chocolate at the bottom, which we had paid for. Very unhappy at this point. We let the servers know and again, they don’t seem very bothered, and at first they just apologise without offering anything. I then ask if we can have some chocolate in cups. The lady proceeds to pour chocolate into one single cup and hand it over. I let her know that we are 3 separate people. she hands 3 spoons expecting us all to eat from the same cup.

THOROUGHLY disappointed experience that left a stain in our memories. I should add that this was on Sunday 22nd of June at 7:45pm, none of the servers working (there were 3 men and 1 lady) were professional enough to rectify the situation and retain us...
