Hot & Spicy Malaban 🌶️ – I got the "hot and spicy" level, but it was more mild than expected (could be spicier!). That said, the má là (numbing-spicy) flavor was still great, and the texture was that perfect thick, sticky, saucy style.

Creamy Sesame Dry Pot🍲 – My friend ordered this, and it was a northern Chinese flavor dream! Though it looks light, it’s packed with savory, nutty sesame aroma. The beef slices, tripe, squid, and shrimp were all super fresh—no weird smells, just tender goodness.

Great market and has been for decades. On Sundays there’s a fancy farmers market but honestly don’t get mugged off - if you go down M&S end the fruit and veg there is great. 3 blood oranges for £1, and if you want good cheese and sandwiches the end stall is great too. Got a nice hat for a fiver last weekend and there’s good fish too. Everything you need from a proper loved and used London market. Lovely cafes and shops on this street too, and a good little Asian supermarket...
