Terrible place. Rented their SOHO penthouse through booking.com. |Broken pieces in bathroom almost resulted in severe injury. Broken refrigerator resulted in a lost bottle of wine and another of champagne. They advertise television but there is no cable and couldn't get any local channels. 5 flights of narrow stairs without handrails that were near impossible to navigate with suitcases. Stuck window/door to patio (which looks out on nothing but ugly roofs) which resulted in my husband injuring his hand. Noise level|Is extreme and went on ALL night and into the morning. Made sleep impossible. Only quiet place was bathroom. Informed management at every step of the way with all the problems. Was promised amends (their words) but no offer to change apartments no resolutions. Don't even come and fix the problems. Asked for more and more documentation with no response. Their solution was an offer of the best rates possible for a future stay. With such. Horrible experience why on earth would I ever want to stay with them again. Location is not always everything. Avoid this place. When we arrived at 15:30 we entered the room and it was not clean. The cleaning ladycame downstairs and told us it was not ready and went away. We could hear her talking and laughing on the phone. We called the Reception and they said they will speak to their cleaning staff and they would call us back. They apparently had no other rooms available, and she never apologized or offered no compensation for the inconvenience.A few minutes later the cleaning lady came with another lady who said the room would be ready in an hour. We waited than an hour outside. The room is small, the bed is very small, the kitchenette is barely equipped. We also found a giant kitchen bug in the closet, Bad staff, bad services,...
