I had my first experience with Electric Hair this week and I absolutely loved it. The whole experience has been absolutely delightful : all members of staff are very attentive, helpful and professional ; the salon has a very nice vibe that makes you feel comfortable. The prices are high, but you pay for what you get : an amazing expertise in hair 'design', by professionals who really know what they are doing.

I have been treated by Julie, the French trainee who is lovely and love what she is doing and is very careful to do a good job. Even though she was still learning from the other experts in the salon, she clearly has the potential to be a great hair dresser : I've loved her.

I have to mention Michael and Charlie, who are a delight by themselves and I was very impressed to see the level of their expertise. They know what will fit you and always have fresh suggestions to make you look gorgeous. When I go to the hairdresser, I am expecting from the hair dresser to pay attention in my whole appearance before making a new cut and make sure it will fit, and Michael and Charlie absolutely met even further those expectations : skin color, hair color, type of hair, face's shape, personality.. you won't go out of Electric Hair without a cut that is not perfectly tailored for you.

It is so great to finally find a salon that really take care of what you want- and if you don't, they will find it out for you.

Ever since moving to London two years ago, this place has been my default choice whenever I need a haircut. Though every now and then I would get a cut elsewhere when traveling, I always come back here.

When I first went to Electric-Hairdressing a few years ago, I was visiting from America and was in an urgent need of a cut. So I went into the studio and met Charles. Normally, I get rather unsettled whenever getting a haircut from a new place, but Charles was not only highly skilled but also easy going. The experience was great. When I moved to London, I didn't have to think twice before visiting Charles for another haircut. Charles has been cutting my hair ever since. When he was working in the Oxford studio, I would take days trips there once a month just to get a haircut. Charles is a terrific stylist and is thorough with what he does; he knows how I like my hair done but still manages to do something different each time. I definitely recommend Charles if anyone is in need of a stylist.

Overall, I really enjoy coming to Electric-Hair. The receptions are friendly, and the studio has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. I also recommend their hair products, which I have been using for several years. Don't see myself going anywhere else...

Terrible experience with Mark Woolley (owner of Electric space). He did my highlights and put it loads of really dark low lights that I hadn’t requested, and he admitted after that the colour came out much darker than he expected and it wasn’t the desired result. I had to pay extra to get it fixed at another salon.

Given it wasn’t what I asked for, and I had to pay all over again at a different salon to fix it, Mark agreed to give me a refund. This was 2 years ago, and I still haven’t received a refund. I kept chasing Mark and his PA for 6 months, but finally released he never intended to give me a refund. Very dishonest to promise a refund but then ignore all my messages and never...
