Kensington Flowers — Local services in London

This joyous experience started with our daughter’s July 31st birthday; she being in the U.K., and we her parents at home in N.Y.C.

Thank goodness for Google Reviews….as I hoped I would be able to successfully WOW our daughter once again, as I try to do every year. This year, however, would prove my most challenging yet, since she was on the other side of the pond…

After an extensive internet search, and review reading, I came upon Kensington Flowers, 15 Victoria Grove. It appeared, from their shop’s online, tasteful floral arrangement images, to be just the shop to fulfill this challenge.

After emailing the shop, within minutes, I received a reply from Douglas assuring me that he and his team would be able to perform the task (what was extraordinary was they were the only floral studio who offered a cake and floral arrangement option). A win-win for me.

Now, my husband and I began the wait.

Then, my phone is ringing, it’s her…”Mommy the cake is the most beautiful cake I have ever seen!”

The delicate looking 6” soft pink berry buttercream iced cake, topped with fresh strawberries, Happy Birthday- name- had been personalized as I requested and “The flowers are so beautiful!” “This is incredible, thank you, thank you!!! How did you do it?!

I have been meaning to write a review for a while but really needed to as the service that I had from Kensington Flowers was superb. To cut a long story short I live in Cornwall but was getting married in London last November. I made a few enquiries with florists in Kensington and decided on Kensington Flowers because of the reviews that I had seen and also the contact that I had with them. I dealt with Juliet via e-mail and she was delightful. She suggested that I send an image of my dress colour so she could match the dress colours with the bouquet and button holes, which I did. The whole process was very easy and stress free and on the morning of our wedding I popped in to collect the flowers, not really knowing what to expect but not worried as I felt very confident in Juliet and her staff. When I saw the flowers I was blown away. Far better than I had ever expected, truly beautiful and Juliet and her team had listened to my requests and completely delivered. The most beautiful flowers I have ever seen and the colour match with my dress was perfect. I would recommend them again in a heart beat. Kensington flowers are quite exceptional. Juliet made a beautiful cross and a huge flower arrangement for my father's funeral and they were simply stunning. Everyone present at the funeral commented on the beautiful flowers and how exceptionally beautiful they were. I am so grateful to Juliet, not only for the beautiful flower arrangements with the freshest of flowers, but also for lending us a pedestal for the flower arrangement and being so flexible about delivery times. Her colleague, Angus was also very helpful and patient with me, when I was placing the order and helped me in selecting the right arrangements for the occasion.
