If I could give this zero stars, I would. Horrible service. Rudest manager and service I have ever encountered anywhere in the world. So far in London we have found all restaurants to be over accommodating and polite and have been so impressed. This was the worst service i have experienced not just in London but literally anywhere in the world. They had empty tables but told us no room. When we asked again, we were seated. From the moment we walked in we were treated very poorly compared to everyone else around us. Other tables were served a table app and we were not until we asked. We had to ask twice for glasses of water when everyone else was being given refills. When we ordered more food we were told that this isn’t how it’s done, order once. During the meal we were not asked once if we were okay when every table around us was checked on multiple times. We watched him joke and laugh with all others leaving, shake their hands when leaving. We were given dirty looks and yelled at. At the end we cleaned off of hands with our sanitizer after paying and packing up and then observed another table being served with hot towels before they paid the bill. At the end when I asked why were we not served water, offered towels etc. at which point the manager began screaming at us. We had to actually ask him to lower his voice and stop shouting at us. He then showed us the menu and said we didn’t order enough food and we had kids with us and they are busy so he shouldn’t have even seated us. He continued raising his voice in front of a full restaurant until we left. I was calm and polite the whole time until the end when I told him he was the rudest person I have ever met. Worst service,...
Read moreDear Imran, we were very unfortunate to attend and was placed in the back, our waiter, whom we never seen before, totally messed up our drinks order, before another waiter had to speak to him in own words, to get it corrected, we are very regular to this establishment for last 17 years, but now Chowduary is gone, we are never looked after, new waiter is very rude, broken English, and not efficient and does not look happy to be there, food was great as usual, but note for Imran, we don't want your free on the house brandy, or 25% off bill, we like to sit in front section because when you get "dumped" inside the greenhouse, you have waiters who are not good as Chowduary. They leave us waiting long for drinks order, papadom does not arrive, we have to grab attention of the waiter, he said his new here and that this is his first job in London and does not know anything, well first of all, some manners, smile, customers are here to be entertained and looked after, and should ask us before he takes our plates away if were are done, note, that knife and folk is usually placed together then you can remove the plates etc, no table brush was provided, no warm towels, just we got the bill and that was it.
Atleast when we leaving our more regular faces, provided us with chocolates, usual chit chat, hope you had good meal and have a good week and so forth, Imran, sort it out, or we not be coming back after next time.
When we say front table, we want front table, not any where else. Back staff were terrible like Brick Lane or...
