My favourite card shop and deservedly the winner of several awards, the 'Best Card Shop in London' being one it has won more than once. It's easily the best choice for unusual or creative cards as artists also sell their own cards through this outlet. The shop is always updating displays and makes a wonderful effort for seasonal and other events. It isn't just the cards people pop in for, there are calendars, note books, diaries, wrapping paper, stickers, games, decorations and little presents, and the staff are so helpful if you want to find something particular. I read that the shop opened in the 1930s and is believed to be the oldest greeting card specialist in London. Terrible news that the proposed development of South Kensington tube station will mean the demolition of this whole row by Transport for London - leaving only a facade in front of fake Victorian shop fronts, and luxury flats. My favourite little shop in London, has fantastic selection of seasonal cards and elaborate and imaginative window displays for special occasions. . THE place for Christmas advent calendars. It also has a selection of unusual cards, 3D, wooden, lenticular, plus other nice little gifts. It's been here for more than 50 years and is worth a special visit. What a fantastic selection of all kinds of cards and gifts, all can be found in this welcoming little South Kensington shop! It can be crowded, but shoppers are friendly and the owner could not be more helpful in guiding people to the types of cards they wish to purchase. This is the only place in London where I go to buy my Christmas cards, and I'm counting down the days until...
