Good Afternoon dear people šŸ¤— hope you are having a lovely day! It’s raining in London, but I kind of like it. It soothes me right now. Anyway, I know I have been super busy and traveling and have so many reviews to do. Here is a quick review that I just recently went. It is a Spanish Tapas in South Kensington and here are my thoughts. Let me start with the timing since I didn’t have a reservation it took about 35 minutes to be seated. Keep that in mind since weekends are busy. Started with a drink, Sangria wine with fruits and it was lovely and refreshing. The dish I absolutely LOVED it’s called Huevos Rotos, potatoes and egg with roasted vegetables and delicious Mallorcan pig sobrasada! This was beyond my expectations! Must try! The potatoes are by far one of the best I Have Ever Tried! The combo is so different and it melts in your mouth! The second dish it’s called Ajo Blanco chargrilled hispi cabbage with chestnut, almond and garlic cream! I liked this as well. Only maybe tiny bit more to cook it so it has more texture and bite to it. Next one it’s something I was skeptical about, but nicely surprised. Garbanzos beans with tomato sauce and crunchy nuts and shredded egg was so delicious. The beans were perfectly cooked.(I dislike so much when they undercook the beans) so bravo! Croquetas de Jamon were super tasty and crunchy outside. Patatas Bravas were Average , cut too big and the Garlic Alioli had way too much Garlic! Dear Chef this is big NO! I would get rid of this dish completely. Drum roll please šŸ„šŸ„šŸ„ā€¦well now we talk about the Pork Dish! Since I come from the land where we are called, ā€œThe Meat Scientistsā€, (sorry if you are Vegan) I must tell you honestly what I think about the pork dish. It was very delicious in general, lovely mix of flavors but unable to chew the meat at all! Which made me frustrated! The big beans were also so hard and undercooked! So dear Chef, PLEASE FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY! I will come back again and I hope you make...

Really terrible service. First, we were told we'd need to wait 20 minutes for a table but we waited 40 minutes before one was available. That would have been fine but no one communicated with us the whole time we were waiting. We had to ask what was going on and the waiter who was in charge of seating us got irritated and very short with us.

Secondly, while we were eating a staff member came over to our table and picked up our wine bottle to see if it were empty at least six times(!!) and constantly tried to clear away plates as we were finishing with them. I can only assume the manager had told the staff to do this to try to usher out diners and increase customer turnover but it was frankly bizarre and obviously incredibly annoying. They were doing it while we were only halfway through our food (and there was clearly 2/3 wine left in the bottle). I really cannot understand the mentality of doing this. We were not there more than an hour and a half in total, which I don't consider to be too long for a group of four, but if they'd just told us in advance they wanted the table by a certain time, we'd happily have obliged.

None of us had ever removed the service fee on a bill before this but it was the worst service I'd ever experienced in London and we decided to not pay the tip that was calculated into the bill. That says an awful lot.

The food itself was good but variable. Some of the dishes were delicious but some of them (eg the potatas bravas) were pretty pricey for what they were.

I definitely do not recommend...

my recent experience at your restaurant, Tapas Brindisa South Kensington, which was deeply disappointing. I hope you will take this feedback seriously as it reflects several areas that need urgent improvement:

Service & Hospitality: • The host was unwelcoming, and I perceived discriminatory behavior. Despite requesting a specific table, it was given to another group who arrived after us. This felt unfair and unprofessional. • The manager, who was wearing a black suit, did not exhibit any hospitality. She was unfriendly and did not seem engaged in creating a welcoming atmosphere. There was no acknowledgment, no smile, and no thanks when handing over the bill or the change. This left a negative impression on our overall dining experience. Food Quality: • The food itself was underwhelming. Many of the dishes were lukewarm, and overly oily with an excessive amount of olive oil. There was nothing particularly special or memorable about the dishes, considering the price. Value for Money: • The prices of the dishes were much too high for the portion sizes and the quality. Paying Ā£18-Ā£24 per dish felt unreasonable. Adding a 13.5% service charge on top of that, despite the poor service, made the overall experience feel overpriced and not worth the visit.

Overall, this experience has left a very negative impression, and I would not recommend this restaurant to others. I hope you can address these issues to improve both your service and food quality for...

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food after reading some poor reviews. Yes it's not Michelin level but you are not paying those prices. The service was very good and fast for us especially on this very busy day. Some portions are not enormous but expected for the area and economy. The tortilla was very good and good portion. It was the very thick type that I personally prefer. The garlic prawns were very good even though some may say few. The padron peppers where tasty and fresh. The gazpacho was very good to my taste and really enjoyed it. The patatas bravas fine. The black rice was on the smaller portion but fresh and well cooked. Bread and tomato was a little overloaded with tomato but that's me being picky. The only hiccup was an error on the bill but that was corrected rapidly and professionally. The only thing I thought was missing was a chicken rice paella/arroz and a good calamares frito. The only issue for me was that although there was a disabled toilet, a small step of 2-3 inches had to be climbed over and my powerchair wont do that. Actually thinking about this, eating here in winter may be harder for a wheelchair user although someone in a manual chair would very possibly be able to get over the step. Would I eat here again? The answer is yes but in good weather or if I had assistance.
