We are tourists from germany and we wanted to try this Cafe. We often go to a japanese Cafe in germany too, and the food there is very delicious with an beautiful atmosphere and good portion sizes for the prices.
But this Café was a disappointment for my daughter (and me). The Atmosphare is pretty okay and it's clean, but the chairs wer'nt really comfortable. The Café is expensive, which is okay in the case that the Desserts there are good.
We ordered one of these bear cakes and a piece of jiggly cheesecake. The bear cake was Ordinary from Taste, but Pretty yummy. The Cheescake was not that great. Also the pieces are just way too small for that price. We did'nt tried the mochi, but they are freshly made, which is a good Thing, maybe they Taste better. I also want to say that you don't even eat from plates, just from cardboard and with wooden forks. I know this is normal for fast food stores but well.. the looks from the Café, this cardboard and all that just not really fit too the fancy looks, the small pieces and the priece of the food there.
In conclusion, i can tell that this Cafe is simple not worth the Money if you expect something like incredible Taste or a better experience than something which could be compered with buying just a Croissant from a normal bakery. If the store would be cheaper it would'nt...
Read moreHad the strawberry short cake and the tiramisu cake. Strawberry short cake had a nice consistency, but lacked flavour and tastes super bland. The tiramisu was way better. I also ordered a Sencha green tea, do not do that if you expect a proper green tea (which I did from a "Japanese" store). Boiling hot water, waaaay to much loose leaves for the cup size. The lid wasn't closed properly either, I spilled super hot tea all over my hand - ouch. Also, the leaves were put into the to-go cup without any bag. So you just get a super bad Sencha. Too hot, bitter, too strong, no possibility to let it steep to your own liking (in general Sencha should steep for only 30 seconds in 60-80°C water). I wouldn't visit a second time regarding quality and price. Moreover, the 2 tables outside were blocked by teenagers who were playing on their phone and tablets without ordering something. I wish the staff would keep a better...
Read moreIâve tried their cakes more than once, and unfortunately, the quality just isnât there. A few years ago, I ordered a whole macha crepe cake and was disappointed to find it had been frozen, with artificial tasting cream. Taste like wax. So thick, stick on my tongue. Recently, my husband bought a couple of crepe slices as a surprise, and nothing had changed. After just a few bites, I had to throw them away. The cream still tastes artificial and doesnât even dissolve in cold water, which says a lot about the ingredients. It feels like theyâre more focused on opening shops in prime locations than actually improving...
