Room type - Inside Queen Accessible. Guests - full time wheelchair (power chair) user and able bodied OH.|The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from Trafalgar Square and Covent Garden, and right amongst a load of theatres. It's an easy (but busy) roll from the Elizabeth Line at Tottenham Court Road |If you sign up to membership of Z Hotels (which seems to just be receiving very occasional emails) you get 10% off room rates and complimentary cheese board /glass of wine each day of your stay, which was pretty good! We didn't have breakfast at the hotel. |There was a steep drop kerb right outside the hotel but no matching one across the road. The outer door was automatic, leading into a small lobby with another automatic door into the reception/bar/dining area. The reception/bar area was pretty easy to move around. |Our room was not ready for 3pm check-in. The front of house staff were quick to offer us complimentary drinks to apologise but we had an appointment and didn't take advantage of it.|Our room was on the ground floor so we had no lift to deal with. This type of room is very compact and it has no window. The floor /walls were well defined by dark and light surfaces and it had a hard floor. |The wet room was very spacious, probably half of the total space. It was separated from the rest of the room by a frosted glass 'wall' with a sliding door in the centre. There was a flip down shower seat and the shower controls were within easy reach. There were adequate grab rails in sensible places around the room but I think these were intended to double as towel rails. The sink was lowered but there was not space for me to roll under it. It was a rounded design so if you have any difficulties with grip/dexterity there was not a flat surface to stand a glass or water bottle on while you fill it. The tap was a lever on the wall to the side of the sink. This was quite stiff. There need to be more flat surfaces around the sink area to put your bathroom stuff. The loo roll was quite a reach from the toilet. All the towels (and spare loo roll) were on shelves above the toilet which were unreachable from a wheelchair. There was an emergency pull cord beside the toilet and in the shower area, both of which hung to the ground. |There was no wardrobe in this room - there was a wall panel instead with pegs for jackets and hangers for other stuff. This would be absolutely fine, except that not a single one was within reach of a wheelchair user! Beside the bed was a desk with a white surface, making it readily visible against the dark wall panel behind it. On here was a kettle, mugs and a selection of tea, coffee, milk and hot chocolate. Under the desk was a sturdy stool. There was a narrow shelf below the desk. I could not roll under the desk. | There were just three plug sockets available in this room - a single one beside the door and a double one (with USB sockets) in the wall panel above the desk. Also on this wall were the light and temperature control panels. They were gently backlit and very user-friendly. However they were also out of reach from a wheelchair! With the lights off there was still a small green light above the door, presumably to make it easy to find in an emergency. It gave out quite a bit of light - light sleepers might need an eye mask. |The mattress was firm I would say. They'd done something weird to the pillows (which we didn't work out until the morning!) - inexplicably folded inside themselves so they were oddly short, and lumpy at one end. No idea why. The bed fitted exactly in it's space so there was just the one available edge, and the position of the desk meant there was only access to about 2/3 of that. The top of the mattress was about 10 cm higher than the seat of my wheelchair, which made for a tricky transfer. There was a space under the bed for luggage storage.|Overall this room and hotel worked OK for us but a wheelchair user definitely needs an able bodied buddy to help out. Our room was right next to the bar but we didn't hear any noise at all. The staff were all very friendly...

A perfect, minimalist hotel for a solo traveler! The reason I booked this hotel was because I wanted to be close to the theater I was flying halfway across the world to go to a show to. To my surprise, not only was it a 1.5 min walk from the front doors of the Duke of York Theater, it was also in the perfect location in Covent Garden.||Location: A quiet tucked away corner of an otherwise Touristy part of central London. About a 3-4 minute walk from major train lines and right next to some good bus routes.||Vibe: The hotel lobby was small, but it had a well stocked daily breakfast (for added fee) and generous seating for people that might need to take calls or just have a quick in between sight-seeing meal or snack. The lobby is also always supervised by very attentive and friendly staff so I felt always taken care of. They also have occasional programming for guests too like a wine and cheese tasting.||Room: I booked one of the slightly larger queen rooms with a window and I'm glad I did because there was more than adequate space for a single person for my whole stay. I feel like my opinion might be different if I booked one of the smaller double rooms with no window...but I really enjoyed my room in particular. Automated window shades and air conditioning at the touch of a button. The overhead lighting was a bit harsh, but I just set it to the reading/low light setting whenever I was in there and that was fine. Bathroom was spacious enough for 1 and had all modern finishes.||Only Cons: It's a minimalist hotel so there was no phone...if you needed something you'd have to go to the front desk. Also not much storage for clothing other than a hanging peg board with some hangers, but the Hotel acknowledges that it's better suited for a shorter stay. They recommend trying one of their larger locations for longer stays. Bed comfort -- I'm American so I'm used to my super plush, super cushy mattresses...and this was one of the firmest mattresses I've ever slept on. It wasn't miserable but I felt like for a hotel, it could've been a little softer.||Overall, I'd definitely return to this Z Hotel or one of their others in the city, I had a very...

The Pros: the location of Z hotel in relation Trafalgar square and surrounding areas is second to none. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean throughout. The room is small, but very functional, the air conditioning worked great (I was there in June) can’t speak to heating, but imagine it would be sufficient. The Cons: the room(s) are small, like extend arms out and touch walls on both sides. (see photo) My biggest gripe was lack of surface area to put stuff on. You get a kind of counter top area that is only like 70 cm wide by 40 cm deep, but half of that is covered in water bottles, kettle, tea stuff etc. I took all of that stuff and shoved in small shelf below and still lacked space to put my stuff. The stool they supply you with isn’t comfortable nor can you convert it into surface area. Basically you can't really unpack or store your suitcase, if they could add some under bed storage, lift up the bed get to your suitcase that would help. Current design I was opening my suitcase on the floor in front of bed, then climbing over it trying not to trip, zipping back up and standind it up after. Also, there wasn’t really enough electrical sockets for technology. Keep in mind your bathroom come shower room is built into the main room. So, when you're sitting on the toilet you can almost reach the bed and if the shower is ON your feet will get wet via sliding door. Note my shower worked well, water pressure good and temperature, but the hose and shower head pointed upwards, so I had to bust out some electric tape and fix it in position (see photo). I feel like there could be a lot of improvements that could be made to the rooms via some retro fitting – adding: - Under bed storage - Shelves more surface area all over, but especially around the bed area - Hanging hooks - Shoe cubbies on walls - More electric sockets and or USB sockets - Better stool / seat Really its about adding storage or functionality to what is a small room. Overall; it's great hotel for what it is. Just keep in mind it’s like staying in cabin on a ship. It's not a room for hanging out in. If you do hang out it will be sat on toilet and or laying in bed.

Excellent hotel with reasonable price. Staff: I dealt with about 7 staff members and they were all sooo friendly, polite and nice. Location: Excellent location with only few minutes walk to bus stops, metro and train station. Just around the corner from Trafalgar square. Very central and close to Soho square and the city centre.. Ans Price: I think the price is very reasonable for what you get. I hope they keep it the same. Room: Just like the pictures: very modern and stylish. I wish I had the panel on the side which controls the lights in the room and the bathroom. There was also an air conditioner which works for cooling as well as heating. The bed is so comfortable and the pillows were stuffed with duck feathers (posh). I slept very well honestly. There is a space to hand your clothes on the wall. And obviously there is a tv which you could use for Itv BBC Youtube and Netflix. There was a hair dryer and a kettle with tea and coffee. Facilities: They have a bar that seems to serve alcohol drinks and possibly soft ones too. They also lend you an umbrella when going out if it rains. You need to leave it back before leaving the hotel for other customers. Would I come back? Absolutely yes - my first option ever.

A única coisa boa é a localização.
