The staff of the Vaudville Theatre were incredible to us. My partner had a severe accident which left her in crutches a few weeks ahead of our booked date. We checked our tickets and found we were in the Grand circle, impossible for my partner to reach as it was up several flights of stairs. We called the ticket line who informed us that we would not be able to change our tickets as the show was fully booked; but there was a lift so it should be fine. With this information, we travelled to the performance only to find no lift to our dismay. We spoke with Chris in the ticket booth who confirmed it was a sold out show, but asked us to return in an hour when he could speak with Graham, the manager. Upon our return, Chris informed us that we had been moved to a box with a fantastic view of the stage, and they would be able to take us through the fire exit in order to avoid all steps. An absolutely fantastic gesture by the Vaudville and it made our night go from a disaster to wonderful; described by my partner as the first good thing to happen since the accident. I asked to shake Grahams hand after the performance as he and Chris that night exemplified customer service and we could not be more grateful. So I thank you all at the Vaudville once again - you made myself and an injured nurse very happy.

Saw Six the musical at the weekend and it was excellent. I hope to see it again! View was good from row M of the stalls. Went with a wheelchair user so some of the group when upstairs, two of us downstairs. All was fine going in and getting seated. The wheelchair 'bay' is normal chair sized which does mean that once the wheelchair was in place, people had to get in and out of the row on the other side or climb over my mother. As the last song of the show was on, someone from the aisle wanted to leave and obviously only realised this as they reached our seats. So our wheelchair user felt she had to get up to let this person past (or let him keep standing on my feet!), she's a bit wobbly but can get up - it would have been worse if she couldn't stand at all. It's hard with theatres but if there was a way of having wheelchairs in a space which doesn't obstruct others from getting in and out, that would have made the trip perfect. All the staff on the door and throughout the theatre were great - we were advised that it's better/easier to let most of the crowds leave before attempting to get the wheelchair out, which is understandable.

In recent years I've been to the Vaudeville Theatre on several occasions, including two different versions of Oscar Wilde's classic comedy The Importance of Being Earnest and a rather nice Hobson's Choice. Like many such historical venues in the "West End" area, it is rather on the small side, and it focuses (if not exclusively) on comedies. The intimate nature will guarantee a good view of the stage from almost every seat, including the front rows in the stalls - and that you will clearly hear every line of diaogue. The place is kept in good shape, and there's a fairly spacious bar area on the upper floor - though the prices for drinks will make your eyes bleed. Toilet facilities are small and old-fashioned. What's great is that you enjoy more legroom by your seat than usual - you may not even have to get up when the final patrons (inevitably for the centre seats in the row) arrive three minutes before the performance starts. The "routine" is the same as at every West End joint: No photos during the performance, and overpriced ice cream at the interval.

One of the best musicals I’ve seen in London, if not the best. I loved that the cast, band & choreographer were all women. Incredible vocals and harmonies were flawless. I laughed out loud so hard my tummy hurt and one of the songs brought tears to my eyes. The band had such great energy and the songs covered all genres, something for everyone. I wish I had watched that musical 23 years ago, I probably would have got a better grade for my GCSE 😂 the costumes were phenomenal - Six! Themed musical festival anyone? Where the dress code is Six, obviously. I’d buy a ticket to that. I loved the show so much I am booking to go see it again with another friend. Each cast member brought their personality to their individual songs and choreography which was so clever and refreshing to see - i’ve never seen that before in a show (as a brown woman that was very powerful to me to see that type of diversity and representation in a musical.) I thought the fact that it was 80 with no intervals was spot on in terms of length. At a time when there is a lot of darkness in the world right now, I was grateful to escape that for 80 minutes of pure joy, entertainment and laughter...
