Savile Row — Local services in London

As you'd expect from Savile Row, impeccable clothing, great customer service from the tailors I've bought from (multiple items from Richard James, Gieves and Hawkes, Kilgour, and Hardy Amies - back when it still existed) and have always enjoyed my experience. I have only bought off the rail and yet to purchase a made to measure suit, but as this is the most famous, prestigious, and historic street in London for tailoring I can think of no better place to get a suit made for you. I'd say walk in, and see which tailoring house suits your taste the best. And don't be afraid to ask questions, the more the better actually so the expert staff can get you what you're after. Probably the most famous street in the world for traditional top draw bespoke tailoring with well known names like Gieves & Hawkes and Huntsman. It's also where the Beatles played their last live performance on the roof of one of the buildings along the street. Look out for the blue plaque on the wall recording the location...

May, 2023: It's a posh high street. It has great large shops that have some offerings that the same shops in San Francisco do not have. Now we Americans have to pay the VAT with no refund 😒, but the cost is still less than buying the same items in the US! I saved literally...
