Awesome location. Great range of sneakers. 1star because...

Some are a bit pricey, and for this simple reason you'd think the service would be on point.

Staff look disinterested and like they don't want to be there. (it's a Saturday so I get that).

But as a result the customer experience is awful, you do not feel welcome and feel like you shouldn't bother them!

I waited 27min to be greeted and served, and even then I had to politely interrupt the male assistant from chatting to his mate.

I was hoping to get my feet measured and seek advice on fits, but when I was asked "what size are you" I simply replied I'm not too sure as various pairs I own are different sizes/fits.

His response? "Take off your trainer and it'll tell you your size"...thanks for that 😑

Hilariously while trying a pair on, the guys exact words were, "yea they suit just take them". I felt like now he was trying to usher me out...not exactly customer service this!

I said I'll take them, at which point he said "cool" and disappeared off. I waited a few minutes before I realised he'd placed them behind an abandoned till. Here I waited further only to notice him on his phone, and luckily a young lady served me.

I had hoped to pick up a few pairs of air maxs, but after 35min of waiting I purchased a single pair and left.

On my way out I noticed an Asian couple struggling to get the same guys attention whilst they were trying to get a pair of Adidas... unbelievable experience.

This is the second time in my last two visits it's been a disappointment coming here. I would reccomend...

I hope this message finds you in good health. I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent visit to your Carnaby Street store.

As a devoted customer of your brand, I have always admired the quality of your products. Recently, I visited your Carnaby Street location with the intention of finding a new pair of running shoes, following the advice of my physiotherapist to address a knee problem.

While I was able to obtain the size I needed, I was disheartened to find out that I was not allowed to try on both the left and right shoes simultaneously. This left me puzzled and frustrated, especially considering the importance of assessing the fit for running shoes. Also the customer next to me can do it.

Despite my offer to leave my personal belongings, my request was denied. This strict adherence to policy, even in light of my genuine efforts to ensure the safety of your merchandise, left me feeling unfairly treated.

I want to emphasize that I made a considerable effort to visit your store in person, underscoring my belief in the quality of your products. However, this regrettable experience led me to ultimately make my purchase from a neighboring establishment.

I sincerely hope that this feedback can be used as an opportunity for improvement. I hold your brand in high regard and trust that future interactions with your store will be more positive.

AWFUL SERVICE AND DON'T TAKE RETURNS. I bought a pair of new balance 550s from Size Carnaby Street. They were out on display. I went back to the store a couple of days later to return them but was declined a refund. The shoes were in the same condition I bought them, my receipt stated the shoes were refundable yet the staff couldn’t provide me with a valid reason not to accept the return and redirected me to size customer service who don’t even deal with these type of enquiries so the staff was incredibly rude and just wanted to shrug me off as a problem. I then contacted size customer on twitter to get my problem resolved however again the service here was awful. I had to explain the problem nearly 5 times just because I kept getting a new person to solve my claim. In the end, I was redirected by the customer service back to the store and was told that the store will email me regarding my query which hasn’t happened over the past 3 days. I am never shopping with size again yet being a avid shopper here for the past 3 years. I experienced awful customer service from both the staff in store and online and felt that rather than solving my problem, it was a case of my problem being redirected back and forth between twitter and size carnaby store, hoping that my receipt eventually becomes invalid and they can get rid of my problem.
