Walked 15 mins to this pub as the Green King website listed it as a pub with a tranquil beer garden (see pics) with clearly fake stock photos and the reality is it's just a few tables outside the front of the pub on busy carnaby street. Complete waste of a journey and our money as the beer they served was gross because they've obviously not cleaned their lines in a while (hazy day) If you want to sit on a busy corner surrounded by tourist it's fine but there are plenty of other places with seating nearby that are much better Update your website please as it's complete nonsense Edit - Fully aware what a hazy IPA is and drink both of your IPAs (level head) on a regular basis (in Kingston) so know what they are supposed to taste like. Could have predicted that the response here would have said they just had new lines installed and cleaned instead of just admitting there might be something wrong with the drink. Of course you did :) Maybe it was a bad barrel or dirty pint glasses then

Looked like a cool place. Atmosphere was a decent vibe minus a slight unpleasant smell inside; probably from moisture in the walls, not sure. Service was friendly yet a little slow to bring food out. Just disappointed that they got our food order wrong. Asked for mash with the Pie but got chips instead. Furthermore the BLT and Pie hardly had any meat. Felt like we were eating vegetarian food. I counted 3 small M&m sized pieces of meat in the entire "Steak" Pie. The entire meal was just carbs and gravy... not good for a £15.45 pie. From a pub perspective, a good way to surreptitiously cut corners and save on expensive ingredients while selling at a profitable margin. The BLT was just as bad. Literally 2 nugget sized pieces of chicken... Overall felt ripped off and extremely disappointed. The probability of us returning is very low. ** Later Update After eating my partner and I felt qweezy. We suspect something with the food.

An Absolute Gem in the Heart of Carnaby – Greene King Delivers! If you’re looking for the quintessential British pub experience in one of the most vibrant parts of London, look no further than Greene King in Carnaby! Tucked away in the charming streets of this iconic area, this pub is an absolute standout. The selection of beers is outstanding, with a range of Greene King’s signature brews, including the ever-popular IPA, as well as a fantastic variety of guest ales and craft options. What really sets Greene King apart is its lively, yet laid-back vibe. Whether you’re catching up with friends, enjoying a post-work pint, or just soaking in the atmosphere after a day of shopping in Carnaby, it’s the perfect spot. The outdoor seating area is an added bonus, ideal for people-watching while sipping your drink.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I know that this pub is only in business because of its location. Because its certainly not in business for its food, service or drinks. I went to this pub with some friends visiting from the United States. Normally I would never go to a pub in this area, but we merely wanted to grab a quick bite to eat then continue touring London. I ordered the Halloumi mezze. My friend was standing right next to me when I ordered it. It took a long time to be brought our food. Additionally, I was brought the halloumi & chips. When I told the waitress that what she brought out was not what I ordered, she told me she would fix the issue. Again, it took the waitress a long time to come back to our table and when she finally came back, she told me that the chef refused to correct the mistake. So I was forced to keep & pay for something that I did not order. I am currently employed for Fullers pubs and I am very proud that I am. Even if a customer was in the wrong and did order the dish that the server brought out, at Fullers we would still work to please the customer. That's the kind of service that Fullers provides. But with this pub, the waitress was in the wrong and no one cared. I don't understand how you can live with yourself, let alone continue to run an establishment like this. Next time I am in the area, I don't care if this is the only place available to eat, I'd rather swallow my spit to satisfy my hunger than to give this place business that it...

Average Sunday Roast! I come here a lot. Food is great, wine is good, and location is excellent. Most of the staff are nice, but service isn't great. (Example: told there is no ice upstairs so water I asked for couldn't have ice.. waitress only had to ask if I wanted ice and go downstairs for it but she wasn't bothered lol) I've had a few experiences like that here with the young staff...Came for Sunday roast today and veg was wilted and chicken dry as if it was left under heater for hours after initial preparation. I ordered at 4pm granted but if it's not to standard don't sell it at that time... Otherwise, I've actually recommended the food here and the bad service is partially redeemable by the great atmosphere. Cool crowd and quizz on Wed eve I think.. Will be back

UPDATE: 30/MAY/23 Battered Halloumi REDUCED portion size £6.50, used to get 6 pieces with loads of sauce , today I got served 3 ( rubbish presentation in comparison to usual) and minimal sauce for same price!

I like to come here most days. I am already coming less and looking for another bar because they got rid of the Shiraz and their new wines are not great, at all! One is alright but the Shiraz was good.

Point being , stop making bad changes that are negatively affecting your revenue and my experience, and I'm only one customer, I'm sure others are experiencing the same.

I know you must get a lot of tourists but you are pushing away regulars.

Food is great...

As a french person I looked for a typical pub to have a fish and chips with my husband and 2 daughters (I'm afraid I am being a perfect tourist lately). Though, I am not usually easy to satisfy and always end up with disappointment. We went first floor, we loved the colours, the ambience, even the view on the flowers by the window. The people gathered around a beer or to watch football and F1 (I never watch TV so I didn't come for this but I followed the racing believe it or not) added to the picture. The food is perfect, the fish is delicious and melty in mouth, the fries are not at all soaked in oil (which I usually fear because I am french and never satisfied of nothing of course). My husband really liked the beer suggestion which is also an achievement. Finally, the lady who served us was the kindest, with a sincere smile and I wouldn't have wanted someone else to be served by. We were asked about the food when we were eating, so we can say that the service is kind and the staff is friendly. Just that short review to say we couldn't have dreamt of a better experience for a first time in a pub (with our children aged 19 and 9). I ordered a Christmas pudding to take away (obviously!! Who could possibly have a dessert after that!?) and the lady again did everything to be helpful and kind. Thanks to the staff, my birthday weekend went all...
