Unfortunately this location does not live up to expectations built at the canary wharf branch. While the interior is a cool and relaxed vibe, the terrace above looked hastily thrown together. Dust, cobwebs, and parasols oddly placed to barely cover only a couple of the tables.

Inside, the service staff were inattentive, and it took multiple attempts to get their attention, as they were quite busy - chatting to one another by the bar.

The food, once it arrived, was underseasoned, which led to another wait to get someone's attention to ask for salt and pepper - which were not checked for functionally - which led to yet another wait to get someone's attention to ask for a shaker that actually worked. Followed by numerous bones in the fish. Yes I know its fish it happens, but the size of some of those suckers, I don't think the cook even tried to check. They would have found and removed at least 2 that were almost an inch long.

The wine flight on special was very mid. And the selection did not cater to all tastes unfortunately. AND after saving the last sip of the most palatable of the 4 glasses, the waiter cleared it from my table without even asking! I expected more from a dedicated wine bar.

Finally dessert - on the very first bite of a scoop of ice cream, I was disturbed to find pieces of shredded cling film in my mouth.

All in all a very disappointing (and unsafe!) experience that I hope to...

My girlfriend and I had an incredible Valentine’s dinner at Humble Grape! We opted for the 5-course Valentine’s menu, and from start to finish, it was a fantastic experience.

The meal began with a parmesan madeleine and whipped truffle butter, which was light, rich, and the perfect way to start. For starters, we had the lamb croquettes and smoked salmon carpaccio—both were beautifully presented and packed with flavor.

For the mains, we both chose the seared seabass, and it was absolutely delicious! The fish was cooked perfectly—crispy skin with a tender, flaky inside—and paired beautifully with its accompaniments. Every bite was full of fresh, well-balanced flavors.

Dessert was equally impressive—I had the chocolate fondant, and my girlfriend had the dark chocolate mousse, which was smooth and indulgent. The final touch, a hazelnut choux, was the perfect sweet bite to round off the meal.

The wine pairing was another highlight. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and helped us choose natural and organic wines that complemented each course beautifully.

The ambiance was cozy, intimate, and romantic, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and every detail felt carefully considered.

For £50pp, this was an outstanding dining experience. Highly recommend for a romantic evening or any special occasion. We’ll...

I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening, without booking in advance. They were able to seat us and the restaurant was fairly quiet, although not empty.

We were immediately greeted with a smile by a French (?) waiter and then were assisted by an Italian (?) gentleman and an Asian-looking lady. They were all cordial but professional, which complemented the cosy ambience of the restaurant.

The hake I got was excellent, although the samphire that came with with it was a bit tough in places (it wasn't pruned properly). I enjoyed my white Veneto chardonnay wine, despite me not being an avid wine drinker and it being quite cheap. The chocolate fondant dessert was also nice, but nothing remarkable.

All things considered, I feel that the food was a bit overpriced and the choice wasn't that wide, so I'd recommend checking out the menu in advance if you find yourself coming mainly for the food (it's more of a wine bar).

All in all, I would be...
