TOKITO HAIR — Local services in London

This is my third visit to this hair salon. The first two times I had a pleasant experience with the Japanese and French hairdressers which is why I came back again.

On my most recent I had the worst hair cut experience. This hairdresser used very hot water to wash my hair, even after I told him it was too hot he did nothing. I think this was because he was using thick black gloves to wash my hair. I never had a hairdresser wearing gloves to wash my hair, it made me feel I had head lice or something. He used a very hot hair dryer, it got to the point that it was burning my scalp and had to move my head. When it came to cutting my hair he hardly did anything. I'm certain that I will need another hair cut in two weeks which is not right for a man.

All of the salon I've been to always gives me a rinse before styling to get rid of loose hair from the haircut, but he apparently couldn't be bothered to do that. Normally when I get a bad hair cut the hairdresser spends a lot of time styling it so at least you look amazing at the salon but he couldn't even be bothered to do that so the whole experience was just disappointing and I'm definitely not planning on going back.

I understand everybody has to start from somewhere but when I'm paying for a senior hair stylist I'm not looking...

At my first visit I really loved this place as it was tranquil and calm. The stylists seemed knowledable with layers cut, however i had to go back twice to rectify the colour i wanted. As i do only come to salons before i go abroad.However my recent visit wasnt as hopeful. I had lot going on the day of my appointment as my father had fallen ill. So i wasnt there on time perhaps half an hour late. The colour i wanted did not come out eventhough stylist said nice colour. I have washed my hair few times and colour still not as i wanted. I was in hurry to get it done as i be travelling abroad following week. I was also charged a hefty amount of £180 for a top head of highlights. I dont know if price ranged for booking with the senior stylist- As on the website it mentions fullhead highlights are £150 and when you pay alot and do not get the results your looking for it makes you even guilty of going to a professional salon. I dont think i have the time now to go back to Tokito to rectify. I am really disappointed with the results and the stylist was rushing and trying to serves others customers at same time. The receptionist also made me feel akward as she kept staring. I do not know if i will want to come back to...

In short, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else! Vanessa has the cutting skills of an average beginner and Hiro is so full of himself that even you'd pay a lot of money, you won't be treated fairly! Over the years i went to a lot of hairdressers in London, expensive or cheap - i have short hair and i can tell you for sure, don't choose Vanessa! She's not able to master a pixie cut properly and Hiro...when i've complained -he came over, told me something like "she's a junior stylist what do you expect??" -chopped my hair for half a minute and said -"yeah is fine"! All this for £45! Go somewhere else, to be honest i've been treated better and had better cuts for £25! Now, i have to wait a month for my hair to grow back, and it's such a bad cut, it's very...
