Nkora Coffee - Shoreditch — Restaurant in London

I visited this place regularly and they do make a decent cup of coffee. However, I would say that’s pretty much it.

Chai latte is atrocious - barely any spices and just tastes like a chalky milk with a stingy doze of cinnamon. Matcha latte is also pretty poor.

Their worst crime is probably their decaf versions. Perhaps it’s a misunderstanding of what decaf is, but mine tasted like cup of foamy milk with a millilitre of coffee.

If you find yourself here - you can either just go around the corner to a little square or cross the road. Both places serve better coffee and alternative...

I work just around the corner and have been coming here on and off for almost 2 years. The quality of the staff (customer service) and the coffee is very up and down and can be quite disappointing. I have stopped visiting multiple times until staff have changed over, but it is the closest place to my work, so sometimes I come back just to find out that I should have ventured further away. I live nearby and I have visited this spot many times over the years. The coffee is average - there are better options in Shoredirch/Hoxton area imo. Staff turnover is alarming. Service is average - sometimes baristas were friendly, warm and welcoming, other times you’d get one of those twenty-somethings who give off a vibe like you should feel lucky to be in their holy presence.
