I really enjoy attending Sifu Darryl Moy's Wing Chun classes. I had been looking to take up a martial art for a while before starting, but wasn't really sure what I was looking for. I looked around on the web and went to see a couple of classes to see what I thought, it was the relaxed nature of the wing chun classes and lack of ego's that made me decide to try this martial arts class. Since starting to learn wing chun almost a year ago (time flies when you're having fun) I have continued to enjoy learning wing chun and feel more confident in myself now as well. Before I started wing chun I didn't have much to judge the class by, but although the classes are relaxed and friendly i am now starting to appreciate how much attention to detail there is in Sifu's teaching. I would recommend this Wing Chun class to anyone looking to learn the real skill of Ip Man, and not wanting to just train in violence or aggression. I have been attending the Manchester classes regularly and have been studying Wing Chun for about six months now. I have been impressed every week with Moy Sifu's teaching and his understanding of Chinese culture and Chinese Martial Arts especially Wing Chun Kung Fu. I like the fact that everyone trains together and the seniors are always willing to help out us 'juniors'.
