Our usual go to Chinese is now never again! Whenever we have friends & family we go here because the food is usually really tasty even though it is on the more expensive side I used to think it was worth it. Until tonight, where an £8 Salt & Pepper Chicken Pieces came and had FOUR pieces of chicken in it (Pic attached). I called as they also forgot our prawn crackers which I had ordered. I was told over the phone that I was lying and that they can promise it didn't have four pieces of chicken in it despite me saying I have got it in-front of me. To be called a liar after calling up for the first time ever and I've ordered from here well over 20 times to think I would be lying is just bizarre. Just received an Uber eats delivery! First time trying and wow, honestly stunned as to how fresh, tasty, authentic and delicious this whole meal was. I rarely order Chinese any more as it’s so hit and miss.

But the salt and pepper ribs (without batter) were just unreal, meat falling off the bone, super tasty sautéed veg, you can tell they’ve put a lot of love into every dish here and as a fellow chef I really appreciate it! Feels worth the spend, ten fold when the quality is this high. I walked in for a take away as I have been here before, The food was excellent, I had hot and sour soup Sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice. Great food. Not big portions but I would personally prefer good quality over amount. The reason for the low mark on atmosphere is because it looks like an empty shop.
