A little disappointed with our visit, last time we came top marks, this time...hmm..we arrived and the place wasn't busy, but the staff were busy, so we sat down in a booth near the bar, 10 minutes later, no one had acknowledged us, until we caught the attention on a waitress, she ask us if we had been given any menus, to which we replied not as yet, until another staff member, I assumed more senior, arrived abruptly with the menus and went on to say we should have waited as we have to ask you about allergens and then seat you at the table, we tried to explain that at the time of arrival we saw everyone was busy, and that last time we were there we just choose our own seats! In a huff, she left the embarrassed waitress waiting for our order and turned tail and left! Not a nice first impression! Eventually when we did get our foods, the garlic cheese was burnt underneath, yes we should of said something but following our first contact choose not too. Other similar pizza restaurants around us were busier than this, and to be honest, you can tell why, manners cost nothing, first incounter costs a lot, I certainly won't be coming to this branch on Stockport again, we spent over £100, and usually visit 3 to 4 times a year, your loss. Dinner be warned.

A pretty shambolic experience unfortunately. Arrived as table of 3 just after 2pm on a Sunday in December. There was only one poor chap running the front of house. He was very polite and attentive but the place had several empty tables with dirty plates on them (he did apologise). Also apparent that there was only one person on the kitchen. The place only had half a dozen tables occupied during the time that we dined. We only ordered mains (mozzarella pizza, kid's pizza and the special brisket+venison stufato Christmas special). These took over an hour to arrive to the table. The Brisket and Venison Stufato was actually very tasty. Meat fell apart, the potatoes were cooked well and tasted like decent Jersey Royals and the sauce had a great flavour. Pizzas are pizzas... struggle to go wrong with them. Have eaten here before but hasn't been this bad. Cannot take issue with the staff working on the day as they were clearly swamped and trying their best. Whoever manages this place and determines staffing levels should be ashamed.

We visited after seeing a movie in the cinema on the same row, when we arrived it was quiet with only one table dining at the time, our order was taken quickly and food arrived not too long after. I ordered Casareccia Pork & Garlic Meatballs, and my daughters ordered the Bolognese. Mine arrived with no meatballs to be seen, im assuming the mushed up meat was the meat "balls" it still tasted ok and didn't complain because I couldn't be bothered hanging around for it to be remade especially when my daughters were already eating theirs. The garlic bread with cheese and caramelised onions was fantastic though which made up for the lack of meaty balls... The waitresses were polite, and the restaurant was clean. However, considering the lack of diners, we weren't able to use the toilet due to them all seemingly being in use? Despite us not seeing anyone going to or from them during our visit.

I pre booked this for 8 people for my birthday meal on a Saturday night. We ordered online using the QR code on the table, the system is difficult to use and makes it difficult to change anything in the dishes. It also won't send the order through to the kitchen until everyone at the table has placed their order and we ended up having to redo our orders 3 times because it wouldn't send it through. The starters arrived relatively quickly and were delicious, I would recommend the fondue. After this it went downhill, after almost 2 hours we finally got the mains for the table, one arrived with a hair in it, one arrived cold and another was missing some of the ingredients listed on the menu. All three were sent back, the staff were polite and helpful, the chef was made to put a hair net on and all three orders were remade. Once all the food arrived and in decent condition the food was actually really nice and I would definitely eat it again. After another hour a couple of desserts arrived but not all of them. We enquired where the rest were, 3 people had to reorder due to running out of cheesecake. The 3 reorder desserts were brought out but we were still missing 2, eventually after people had finished their food another dessert was brought out but the last one never arrived so we asked for it to be refunded. The whole thing was complete chaos, it took us 3 hours to get through the meal and so many things went wrong. The reason that the review isn't lower is due to the staff that were there, the server we had couldn't have been more helpful and apologetic, she explained to us that only 1 chef had been put on a Saturday night shift. The food when it was actually hot and when it eventually arrived was actually delicious. What was even more annoying is that the deliveroo orders seemed to be going out with some speed while the people sat in the restaurant were ignored. There were quite a few tables of people who didn't look impressed. My issues are not with the staff that were on shift, both my husband and I have worked in food service jobs so we understand, they were clearly overwhelmed and doing their best. There were nowhere near enough staff for a Saturday night, especially knowing there was a table of 8 people booked in. The whole system needs improvement, next time I'll just stay at home and order, cheaper and quicker by...

Had our first visit to Redrock in Stockport and was pleased to have a very positive experience. I booked over the phone that day, but arrived to no mention of me in the system, but was apologised to and seated no problem. Staff were attentive and friendly and when the vegan ragu was not on the menu, apologised and sorted me out with with a complementary side dish for the inconvenience which was very much appreciated. Service from our waitress in getting drinks and clearing plates could have been swifter, but that would not have been so much of an issue had we not booked the cinema for later that evening. And the staff we did have wait on us were very helpful and friendly which really makes the experience.

So the fact there is a seperate vegan menu is always a bonus. At Zizzi, you know it's a chain, but I appreciate they are thinking out of the box a bit more than some places.

The desert calzone in the general menu is chocolate spread, banana and Mascarpone. The vegan version is banana, berry and fruit compote/sauce. If you could source a vegan choc and an oat Creme fraiche for example, that would be the winner. Comparable versions, especially when it comes to chocolate always appreciated! Had half vegan calzone and half vegan chocolate torte. Stuffing one in the other...

Came in earlier this afternoon 26th May 2023 17:00pm After being shown to a table, we were instantly left for over 25 minutes before a member of staff came over to ask if we were ready to order food, which was very odd as there were only 5 tables occupied in the entire place, although the 4 staff serving were polite enough, it didn't account for much, as we hadn't even been offered any drinks until our starters came out 40 minutes after we arrived, which obviously is nowhere near good enough.

My party was a table of 6, and everyone commented about how tasteless and extremely basic the food was, nowhere near worth the extortionate prices for what you get here. Drink prices are extremely overpriced too for what they are. £6,95 for a bottle of beer. £7,95 for a small strawberry daiquiri, that tasted like lime juice. £3,45 for a piddly little 250ml can of flawsome apple and sour cherry cheap tasting pop. We had 3 vouchers worth £49 each, so the remaining cost we had cash for, and were not advised on entry that they only accept card payment, not cash, wich made it extremely awkward at the end whilst trying to pay normally. Had I known it was card only on entering, I would of happily walked away and gone elsewhere to begin with. Would not recommend to anyone,...
