Love this little gem, proper old fashioned pub w a snug & different seating areas. Pie & mash w gravy is a crowd pleaser, however they were out of peas on the day I visited. Great drinks selection: mulled wine, Robinson's ales (local brewery in Stockport).

Jorvic has been a few times in the last 48 years. Good Robbie's pub with traditional interior and rear beer garden opposite the Red Rock complex. Fair pint of Unicorn as the Best Bitter is now branded.

A real blast from the past, a proper English pub. Much loved by locals and visitors alike. We were visiting from Somerset and found this gem. The staff were very friendly. We have been in the pub trade and know what it takes to make a good pub and the licencee and his partner have got what it takes. If you are brave enough try his 'chocolate Old Tom' but get a taxi home!!!! Best of luck guys you were the icing on the cake of our visit...

Some big investment bigtime in the outside garden that backs onto RedRock. This looks great and opens up what is a small but great time capsule heritage pub.

On the down side the toilets were MINGING with no soap etc... obviously not cleaned for ages. It amazes me that with such great effort and investment such a basic element of cleaning is missing...
