George Street Car Park — Local services in Wakefield

Absolutely disgusting company. I was called out by the Police for and emergency break-in to secure a building after a burgalry. There is nowhere to park there. I cant park on the roundabout and with the amount of materials I carry and need I need my van close by. The Police was parked in the carpark and I followed and was told I didnt need to pay as I was with them. 2 weeks later I got a fine and did as I was told and appealed it. The appeal got refused. I rang them and got no where at all and even found out that they send fines out to the emergency response vehicles that use it too in an emergency. Disgusting company, stop giving money to this pathetic bunch. I will never use anything thats part of this company again and the council needs to sort something out for situations like that. Fine has now been paid and I hope you choke on it, ya set of ripping off arse holes. I found out you even ripping disabled...

Be aware... We got the parking notice from this place few weeks ago. We wrote the appeal and sent them the photo of valid parking ticket (that we still have at home). They sent the answer that they need a proof. We sent the photo of ticket once again by email this time, explaining everything once again. We waited for decision almost two months. It looks like they extended and extended this just to get the money from us. Disgusting. We will never use this parking again.

Honest mistake, and thought parking was free after 6! Received a letter for parking charge which paid in march and now we have received a letter as they’ve taken us to county court 4 months after we paid the charge. We have proof of payment so we will see you in court when we get our money back! Don’t use this car park!...
