What a shame. The door to the establishment says āA place of loveā but love is FAR from what I felt walking in today. Shawna, I have friends that frequent your place of establishment for drum circles. I was invited by friends to go once, I was hesitant on going because some time before that I came into your establishment and saw you were doing smudge cleanses and I stood behind someone waiting for my turn and once you were done with them you simply ignored me. I had to verbally ask if I could get one too. I felt as though you had to know I was waiting, because I stood and waited and watched the whole process that you did with the person before me. That rubbed me the wrong way so I decided to never come back because In cases like this I have to be hyper aware if it is due to prejudice. As I donāt want to put myself in situations where people dislike me because of my skin color. But then I spoke to a friend who is a regular at the drum circles and she said you arenāt like that. I decided to trust her judgment and go to the drum circle that I was invited to. You seemed ok then. It was a fun time in general so I thought maybe you were kinder than I thought. That was until I walked into your store today. There were a decent amount of people inside today, I walked in to look around to shop and upon walking in you were behind the register talking to a woman and said NOTHING to me. No welcome in, no hello, nothing. I thought maybe you didnāt notice me so I took time closing the door to get your attention. Still nothing. So I decided to say hello loud enough for you to hear it and I said it in a kind chipper way and I received Nothing back. Not even a head turn, I simply wasnāt acknowledged. How embarrassing. I know other people heard me say it. Which made me just want to hide. I vow to never come back because in that moment I felt like an outsider. And who wants to feel that way? Iām sure you donāt! I should be a familiar face at this point Shawna, even if you donāt remember my name. I spent an entire morning with you and various other women dancing, drumming and speaking our truths and I couldnāt even get a hello. Familiar face or not itās just so rude and your energy comes across as unwelcoming because of this kind of behavior. I donāt know if you simply donāt have the best customer service, or social skills or just are not that mindful of how others perceive you but I hope you take the time to figure out what that is and do better. Best of luck to you on your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA friend of mine and I went to Casey's for the Winter Solstice Celebration. It was wonderful! There was also recently a professional psychic who was amazing! During the same evening, visitors were allowed to choose between getting a photo of their auras or getting a photo taken of their chakras, or they could choose to purchase both. It really was phenomenal to see. Cassy's has a variety of items to shop for, although the selection is very minimal. I love the energy of this shop and the energy of the people there. Everyone is so kind and fun to talk to. My only complaint would be the extremely small and limited amount of metaphysical/witchcraft supply products to choose from and the miniscule selection and variety of what they DO have. Other than that, it's a lovely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love the energy I feel when I walk into Cassy's! There's always friendly people there to greet you. Shawna is so knowledgable, she can explain in detail anything you want to know. There is a great selection of jewelry made of authentic gemstones. There are loose gemstones that you can learn about that will aid in protection, prosperity, good luck, you name it. Pick up a totem that speaks to you. Sit for a complimentary cup of tea while reading your oracle cards. Feeling a little off, ask for a smudge to rejuvenate yourself. On the way out, don't forget to pick up some incenses, candles, or florida water to bless your home! There are really cool spiritual events going on all the time too, so make sure to check out...
