I am writing to formally raise a concern about ongoing mistreatment I’ve experienced while shopping at your store. I previously spoke with management to clarify that I place items into my personal bags as I shop, with the full intent of purchasing them at checkout. Despite this, I continue to be treated as if I am attempting to steal.
I have had more than one employee follow me around the store, and I strongly believe that a member of your loss prevention team has been staring at my backside in a way that feels invasive and inappropriate as I unload my items at the register. This behavior is unacceptable and degrading.
For your awareness, I have a documented disability and receive SSDI. This pattern of aggressive and discriminatory treatment must stop immediately. If it continues, I will use my graduate student loan refunds to speak with an attorney. As a graduate student currently enrolled in a master’s program, I am prepared to take action if this situation does not improve.
I believe I am being profiled, and I deserve to shop with dignity and without harassment. Please address this...
