DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE FROM DICKS, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! I placed an online order on May 20th and it never came. Had a confirmation email and everything but it was stuck in the âprocessingâ phase. I called Dickâs customer service and asked them what was going on. They told me they would call the store that it was being shipped from and then get back to me. After several minutes, I was informed that she spoke to a man at the Dicks store and he told her âWe donât have anything left over from FedEx, everything that I packed up has already been sent out. You have to call FedEx.â I asked her what store it was coming from because I was just gonna go there myself if it was nearby but she told me it was Willow Grove which is usually 30 minutes from me but I was out of town 2.5 hours away on a business trip and could not make it. So instead, I call FedEx and of course they donât know where itâs at either. I spoke to a manager there and she said they have been having issues with some drivers not scanning packages into their handheld device and that it probably got âlost in transit.â with no tracking info and that its been an ongoing issue and assured me it is being actively investigated within their warehouses. However, this is the second time this has happened to me this month at Dickâs. On May 22nd I placed an order for a pair of Nike running pants. I ordered them on Saturday around 4 PM. Got the confirmation email on Sunday morning that it was being worked on and that was it. Same thing happened. Stuck on âprocessingâ for days. I just called customer service and they said that this order was also being sent from Willow Grove. Called them and got the same BS answer of âEverything I packed was already given out, sorry idk what to tell youâ I just got a refund from customer service and said forget it because Iâm over it. The fact that Dickâs is aware that itâs going on frequently and just blatantly ignore it is crazy. I also tried to do the âBuy online pick up in storeâ option as well after I returned from my business trip 2 days ago. Order was for a Yeti cup and a Phillies T-shirt. It was in a black non see-through bag so I failed to realize anything wrong until I got to my car and opened it. The Yeti was all scratched up and the T-shirt wasnât even folded. Just scrunched up in a ball which caused it to be SO beyond wrinkled. I used to always order stuff online for pickup in store AND get stuff shipped to me for the last 6 months and NEVER had any issues. This place just seems like itâs going downhill.    Read moreIâm blown away with my experience there tonight. Itâs long but worth it. I walked in at 8:45, store closes at 9. Believe me when I tell you i felt horrible even doing this but I desperately needed shoes for work and can only find them at this location. I went right back to the shoe section grabbed what i needed and asked for two pair of shoes in two different sizes for each pair (4 boxes total). The kid went to the back honestly took a good bit to come back out which didnât bother me but was definitely weird for being so late. He brought the shoes out. Two of them were the wrong sneaker/brand. I set them to the side and tried on the two he brought out that were the right brand/sneaker. The one size wasnât comfortable so i went to try on the other size and realized only one was in the box whatever no big deal so i called another employee over because the original employee helping me disappeared. This whole transaction was 10 minutes BTW wasnât in there long it just sounds it. He brought me the second shoe in the correct size and i went to the front to pay. A cashier named Justin waved me over started my transaction and said âIâm giving you a discount todayâ i said why? Is it my lucky day? I was genuinely confused because i didnât complain, was not grumpy or anything honestly was just happy to have work shoes Iâve been searching for For 3 days lol anyway he explained to me that they pride themselves on customer service and he wasnât happy about the experience i had there tonight. Iâm assuming things were said/done amongst themselves within that 10 minute window because again i wasnât upset didnât complain etc and i was just truly blown away. When i tell you i had the biggest smile on my face and was so emotional after this! His managers should be proud. Iâm in the service industry (bartending) and have never had a better experience in my life not even when I was the one providing the service! He truly made my week.    Read moreIn the total experience, there was no customer service or support available. I came with a targeted interest in sneakers to support my heal but the sales person was stocking shelves. When prompted he looked my way but never acknowledge my request for assistance therefore I shopped independently and only finding a sneaker that was on display in my size that I hope will support my heal. At the check out, the experience did not become better- I inquired about the shoe being on display and possibly discounted and was told that people don't try the display on. I shared that I just tried the display because I did not have any other assistance, she shrugged her shoulders and continued with purchase. She asked if I had a score card and when I did not just shared the total of $64. Again, self advocating I asked am I able to apply for a card and use it for the purchase and she said I guess so and begrudgingly completed application for score card which changed my total to $51.99. I attempted to ask other perks of card but she shrugged her shoulders some more. At this point, I wanted to leave the store and sneakers but that defeats my time spent. However, this overall experience has left a sour thought in my thoughts about returning to the store for further purchasing.
