The Crazy Book Lady — Local services in Acworth

So Amazon now deletes honest but disparaging 1 star reviews, so I'll try posting here on Google to notify others. I ordered a book from this TCBL seller that was clearly listed as a hard cover and was sent a softcover instead. Scanning prior Amazon views I noted that my bait and switch experience was not a unique occurrence (maybe that other commenter has now been deleted by Team Bezos as well since no negative reviews are now showing as was the case just several days ago).

Very nearly impossible to believe, however, that a bookseller doesn't know the difference between hard and soft covers, so the reasonable inference is straight up dishonesty ... and just seeing if they can get away with it without having a return or complaint. Certainly won't get my business again ... and I thoroughly expect some lame excuse or deflection from the...

I live near this spot and drove by it for years until one random Saturday we decided we're going to pop in. This place is amazing! Stacy built this place from the ground up, a labor of love wrought with hard work and personal sacrifice. Her story is inspiring. The store has a great selection of books of all genres. Some really fun finds (Choose your own Adventure!!). The staff is so friendly and were excited to help me find my next perfect read. Bob was so kind and helped my daughter pick out a fun book (Nancy Drew FTW). Speaking of employees, their wee furry ones are adorable and fun to play with. They have regular D&D and Pathfinder events. This month they'll even be hosting a Dungeon Crawl Classics night. I'll be back for...

I love bookstores and I love cats. The Crazy Book Lady bookstore has both. Unfortunately, the smell that hits you when you walk in the door is enough to knock you right back out of it. I wish this were hyperbole or even minor exaggeration, it's neither. The smell was obnoxious and as much as I love bookstores I had to leave immediately or face a week or more with a severe sinus infection. I drove a little over 30 minutes to another indie bookstore and it was lovely. Bought several books. If the Crazy Book Lady Bookstore cleans up and does better I would like to know, but for now this store is way off of my list of book...
