If you need screen repair I would suggest going somewhere else. I have a Samsung phone that the glass on broke. I put tape on the glass and it worked fine, but I decided it was time to replace either the glass or just the screen so I bought replacement glass and a replacement screen. Unfortunately I was unable to get the case off myself, so I called Batteries Plus and asked how much to replace the screen if I had my own, they told me $60. I thought that was great so i went to the store to drop my phone off. When I got to the store I told the gentleman I dropped the phone off with that the phone worked completely fine and I just needed the glass replaced if he could do just that, he said no it has to be the whole display and I said OK and gave him the phone and display I had. He opened the box with my display and said oh it is just the display and not the case also, and said he could still do the swap and to give him a few hours. About 2.5 hours later I called for an update and he said that he was unable to replace the screen because the adhesive was extremely strong and he could not get the screen out of the phone. I said OK and that I would come get the phone because in my mind I could still use it, just with tape as it had been. When I picked up the phone the case was not completely back on, but I asked if I heated it back up at home if it would go back together and he said yes, so I left. After I got in my car and started to drive away I turned the phone on and now the screen would did not light up and the part that did was completely broken and had lines through it and now the phone was 100% inoperable. I called the store back and asked the employee what happened because now my phone absolutely was completely broken and would not work and he asked me "what did i expect, he was trying to replace a screen", um I expected to still be able to use my phone and if you broke it beyond use that I would be told. He said he could replace the screen for a reduce price which was more than double my original quote and I accepted that because I needed the phone fixed. I called the next day to speak with someone above him and was told the owner would give me a call and later in the day when my husband went to get the phone he got the owners name and number. I called the owner, told him most of what happened, he said he would look in to it and get back to me and I hope to hear from him soon, but all in all I would not use this establishment for screen repair.
Went in to fix a problem for $64 (including tax), left spending $140 (including tax) to fix the phone they broke
update I appreciate the owners response, but I had already called and spoken with the owner days prior to posting this and have not heard back and I had already spoken to the Customer Care team and all the Customer Care team does is take a message and send it to the owner for review and response since they cannot make the decision for resolution for the franchise owner, so basically the owner I spoke to already who said they would get back to me and never did, is tell me to call a different team that I already called that is just going to pass on this same message to him that I already told him and them and still not...

LJ lied about the screen replacement being in stock, which could have been prevented by calling to confirm in Augusta like he did for the male customer. So, a wasted trip could have been prevented and why no phone call telling me it out of stock? I could have got the color I wanted if I knew it was going to take this long. The burnt camera cord that Sky burned could have been avoided by not overheating my phone and causing delays. If my cord was never burned, I wouldnât have to go back to the store to see why it isnât working. Sara saying the cord would take no more than three days could have been avoided by expedited shipping especially since Sky your associate burnt it. I received no call when and called on the fourth day for Sara to then says the mail has been slow lately. The pandemic has been going on for a while so save that excuse. I get a call from Sara on Monday to come in that day for the repair and for the male associate to give me the run around and not fix my phone. So, why was a message left on my phone to come in that day? A wasted trip and time could have been avoided. LJ the manager lying to my face when he spoke to corporate could have been avoided. He could have told the truth. I hope people reading this see how everyone from an associate level, a manger level and to a corporate level lie at the cause the customer to reap all their lies. The rude responses from LJ and the male associates saying ok over and over when I explained what happened could have been avoided by actually providing customer service and owning up to what happened. You canât give any answers to any of my questions or why I was lied to so many times on a store level and corporate level. I came in for a screen replacement not for all this happen. The entire process only should have taken a few hours not weeks. Why does the customer have to go through all this for your mistake?    Read moreI just walked in to your location, 9/15/24 at approximately 3pm. When my son and I walked in the young man behind the desk did not acknowledge us. I asked if he did watch battery replacement, he said âyeahâ very dryly. The entire time he was on the speakerphone with someone who was telling him what to do with a phone repair, I initially thought he was watching a video at first. I said, â oh I didnât realize you were on the phoneâ. He didnât say anything. A few minutes later, a gentlemen pulled up and walked in,the guy behind the desk rolled his eyes and didnât acknowledge that customer either but grabbed the phone so he wouldnât have the speakerphone on and continued listening to the guy on the phone. By that time I was already looking up other places I could get this service because clearly he didnât care to help me. I work in customer service and this guy needs management to have a discussion with him or a new job. Even if youâre busy, you always acknowledge and let your customer know youâll be right with them.
