Do NOT order online for in store pick up I ordered two bookshelves with an online discount and selected in store pick up thinking it would be faster than delivery. When I went the next morning for pick up they only had 1, not the end of the world but had I just ordered delivery the first time I would have gotten it sooner. The big problem was the manager Lazrell Williams. When only one shelf was available I asked if they could order another for me to pick up, she said no that I had to order it for delivery. I asked about already being charged for 2 shelves she said that it was pending on their end and that I would only be charged for one. I asked if I could have something in writing that stated I only picked up one and therefore should only be charged for one. She said no (even just a short letter stating my name the order number, pick up 1 item and a signature would have made me more comfortable but she refused). At that point I had already ordered the second to make sure another would be available (needed 2 so if it was a cancelled item I couldn't use just one for what I needed). She said I would get a receipt in an hour and then the charge would go through for one shelf but said she could give me nothing that confirmed I had only gotten half my order at the time of pick up. No one checked my id or asked me to sign anything at time of pick up which is unnerving considering it was already charged to my card. I called corporate to get more information and turns our it's a bank hold that could take up to 7 business days to release the money held for a shelf I wasn't able to pick up. Finally got the email stating I picked up and was charged for 1 shelf but will feel better when the hold is actually taken off the extra charge. Kayla the brown skin girl with glasses and right nose piercing and weave on register 7 did not understand the $15 target 🎯 gift card process when buying diapers and wipes. The manager came to assist no apologies for her lack knowledge and rudeness and incompetence. I have never had to enter my number for this. When I did enter and it went through it still would not process.Kayla did all that huffing and puffin and it was still not Working. I bought two extra wipes just in case and now she saying well we should add wipes because it says wipes and diapers. What are you talking about ? You can buy all diapers that is not true. I have never had any issues with target and I use to love coming here but if I see her I will definitely be going the other way she is incompetent and this is not a difficult job. I am a nurse and I worked retail before I was a nurse. Customer services is everything and she definitely should not be in the front serving anyone with her lack of knowledge and unwillingness to learn along with a bad attitude. She needs to be in a plant where no customer has to interact with her. I have always loved Mrs. Ivory and I have never had any issue she has always been so helpful and sweet but Kayla needs to go until then I will spend my good hard earn money at WALMART. I have been happy with my shopping experiences at Aiken Target most of the time. I have purchased several TVs etc. in last couple years and one associate (Wes) in electronics was always helpful and enthusiastic; I gave a five star review then. However, today 12-29-2021 about 11AM was a big disappointment when I went to return a defective item. I did accomplish the return, but I was treated very poorly. Being just after Christmas I thought they'd be very busy at the Returns, but when I arrived there were FOUR associates and NO customers, so I thought I'd get quick service. NOT! I walked in and I thought I was invisible; not one of FOUR employees looked up to acknowledge my existence. The LEAST one of them could do is tell me they'd "be with you in a minute." FOUR of them busy with their eyes glued on two terminals, no other customers, and not a word or nod. I had to speak up and ask why no one was willing to wait on me when there were FOUR of these drones standing there. That did get some attention, but this is shameful service. I've had better service when there was just one associate taking care of a couple people in line. Today...
