Celso’s is one of the best places you can visit for a men’s haircut. I’ve been getting my hair cut from Charlie, the owner and barber, since 2016 when he was at Mark-Jason Solofa in Berkeley! He has incredible attention to detail, friendly, and I especially love that he’ll wash your hair at the end of the haircut. Charlie’s a joy to talk to, and is definitely worth every penny.

I searched for the right barber for years before I officially landed on Charlie. 1. I have an idea or two of what I want but sometimes I’m undecided
2. I let Charlie know, he gives his insight on how the style works with how my hair grows on my head. He counters with an idea on how to make that style work. Or how to improve on it.
3. We don’t leave until we are both satisfied that it’s the look I’m happy with
4. Charlie tells me his plan for the next visit if I want to grow my hair with the current style or change it up.
