Their customer service is simply phenomenal. Easily the best I've ever witnessed as a consumer and as someone who works on the other side of the customer service business in my own career. A coworker and I found this awesome store during a recent business trip to ABQ and it was a great place to buy a couple authentic pieces of Mexican art and home decor. They have an extensive selection of pottery, indoor and outdoor furniture, Zapotec rugs, Talavera pottery, unique metalwork and other decorative items. I ended up buying a couple of great plates and some ceramic artwork (just what I could easily fit in a carry on bag. My colleague, who is renovating his home, decided to splurge on a couple of amazing tin and bronze wall mirrors that the store was happy to ship to him for a mere $50. He was excited when the mirrors arrived a couple days ago and then quite sad when both were broken...and here's where their amazing customer service really shined through.
They immediately did everything in their power to resolve the issue and it was completely not their fault. Both were quite well packed and should have easily made the trip with no issues. Today, he received a phone call from the store manager who told him he was literally 30 min away from his house with 2 replacement mirrors for him...mind you, the store is 6 hours each way from his house. That's just awesome service and it has ensured I will definitely go back to Camino 66 the next time I'm in ABQ and I will spend a significantly larger amount of money as they deserve it for their great merchandize and spectacular...
Read moreI have passed this place for years and finally stopped on in to see what they sell at Camino 66 off of Rio Grande Blvd. near old town. I was greeted at door by a male worker and then going down a aisle and this guy gets in my face and starts asking where I'm from and telling me about sells etc. Then two male workers came into my aisle and start talking face to face with each other and I need to get out of aisle I tell them excuse me three times and they just keep talking, I past between them and then every aisle they start following me as if I was going to steal something. I felt really uncomfortable and not safe as i watched them follow my daughter down a aisle, I did notice all the male workers wearing a ear piece and I thought that is strange. They acted like they were the FBI, CIA. After going down one last aisle I noticed a male worker stand straight down the aisle watching us and as I turned around he moved and look away. This place is not welcoming something is wrong with this place. The funny thing is the sign outside says Lord we need U Jesus I trust in you. Well maybe you would have business if you didn't make customers feel uncomfortable with your weird tactis or racial profiling. I will never step into this...
Read moreIn this past October my friend from Nashville was visiting. We went here and she bought around $500 worth of merchandise plus $200 shipping. I also purchased many items myself. Anyways a week after she left I was in a terrible accident had a broken leg where the bone was exposed and multiple breaks in my arm and wrist . I went to Camino 66 this past weekend and spoke to a man who said he was the manager. I had bought a huge bowl/platter that was very huge. There wasn't a hook etc on the back and no way to hang it. I begged for him to let me do a even exchange. He was rude and said it was past the 30 exchange policy. He saw I still had a splint on my hand. Anyways he said he'd call the owner to make exception and took my #to call be back. He hasn't. I've now left messages with no call back. These people have signs and profese Christian values. Well not so as the way he's shown no empathy or professionalism there's a huge place on the south side of the gazebo in old town that also has a large inventory with good prices. And are very kind and don't advertise their love for the lord. They actually practice it. Please go there you'll be treated with...
