Don’t Buy Tires Here! Tire Department was the worst experience ever! I paid $343.29 for 1 tire (BRIDGESTONE 235/40R19 TURANZA LS100). I’m told my car is ready. I go to my car and the tire looks awful! Not shiny and new like Discount tire gives them to you. I go and speak to Roberto who tells me it’s the goop to stretch the tire. That it will come right off with soap and water when I get home, ugh! Really I couldn’t believe it! He didn’t come to look at tire, apologize or clean it himself. My son saw how upset I was when I got home. I felt taken advantage of because of my age (63). My son went back with me and had the Tire manager clean my tire. We did report this to Lyle and Susan the Managers on duty. They were apologetic and were going to talk to the tire staff. So they get the star! But not one apology from the tire department. Not to mention when we reported incident to Store Managers Roberto passed by shaking his head towards me which made me feel harassed and very uncomfortable! I should of just gone to Discount Tire not worth the 5 year warranty for this whole ordeal!

I want to share my experience using DreamStyle Remodeling through Costco. Costco has been 0% helpful through the process. DreamStyle did not provide me with paper work for my project. Contractor was always late and gone most of the day. The project quality is poor. Project manager Tom Bacon harassed me into signing paper work and even went as far as putting a lien on my home. I wanted a copy of my paperwork and discuss concerns over the project before signing. DreamStyle was not receptive to my concerns. Harassed me for “non payment”. I eventually caved and signed after he threatened to foreclose my home. Project is still not done. I highly recommend going to a competitor as DreamStyle is the worst company and experience. I’ll revise with screenshots of email and project to show the reviewers how awful the company truly is. I reached out to dreamstyle concierge and Costco directly. No one was helpful.

Tire department is unique. But also rather curious, I asked for a new battery, they sold me a new battery but they don't install batteries, they said they're not qualified. On the second issue, I have a car that has no spare tire and the gentleman was so genius, he told me about something called run flat tires, that you can buy, that you can drive for 50 mi, in the event of a flat tire, since I'm planning to export my car to European destination, I found his information truly extraordinary. That's also in comparison to another Costco location where I asked for the information, and they were marginally competent, even from the standpoint of providing information on tires, so truly this is an outstanding location

The staff here is so rude! There was an adult person who had mental delays waiting in line with their mom. I was behind them and the line was close to one of those podium the staff like to stand by and watch the store. The special needs customer was having free samples and kept asking his mom repeatedly if there was a trash can. If you’ve been to this Costco you’d notice they’re everywhere really. He then kept saying “Mom I found it.” and was so happy to throw away his trash. He clapped and kept saying “Yay!”. There were a couple of employees standing at and by the podium. An employee said “Are you serious? There’s a trash can behind them..” The employee was upset because the special needs customer used the little trash can next to the podium instead of the larger trash can that was farther away by an isle. The employees surrounding the area were also conducting themselves in a demeaning manner. One said “What’s wrong with him!” Another said “Ignorance is bliss.” and started laughing. Mind you the customer they were talking about aloud was special needs and probably didn’t notice their belittling, unprofessional, disrespectful, degrading remarks where directed to him. The mother seemed bothered by it though. I really felt sorry for her because she was just there to shop and didn’t go to Costco to have the employees criticize her son. He was just throwing away his trash properly and not tossing it on the ground. I don’t understand why a group of employees would even be bothered by it. He’s not creating more work for them or interrupting there workload. The employees were just standing around doing nothing. I’m going to cancel my membership. The customer service is just lacking at Costco. They have good deals but it’s not worth supporting employees who have such condescending behavior toward...

I went to Costco in the NW shopping on May 6, 2021, around 10:30 AM. A cashier checked me out for my 13 items at 11:25 AM, and my items were packed by another staff.

When I went to the exit with my shopping cart, there were two female staff checking receipts and merchandise at the time. I went to the line on my left where a middle-aged white woman was checking receipts, as there was no one in her line, but a long line to my right. After I gave her my receipt, she started to count my items one by one, which I have never experienced in my 20+ years with Costco. She said that there were 14 items in my shopping cart, but I only paid for 13 items. According to the receipt, I knew there were only 13 items in my shopping cart. She counted the items about three times and kept saying one item unpaid, but she could not tell me which item I did not pay.

Meanwhile, I asked her why she counted my items one by one? She answered that was the rule, but I saw no one was counted one by one in the other line. This probably took too long, so a male staff finally came over and asked what happened. The lady told him that I had a problem with her counting items. The male staff just looked at my receipt and made a mark on it, and then gave it back to the lady, who gave the receipt back to me and let me go without saying anything.

I am very upset and want to say the following:

  1. I was picked because I am an Asian woman,

  2. The lady had no sense of customer service, and

  3. She doesn't know how to count.

I wish to bring this to the management of Costco attention and hope that this will not happen to me or any other loyal Costco...

I love Costco for the most part but some things have continuously gotten worse and have brought down my experience significantly.

Lately (last year or two) they are just way too crowded at this location and they desperately need one (in Rio Rancho maybe?) to ease the congestion.

The helpers at the registers can be nice but some are very condescending and rude ....if i take my stuff out they tell me not to....if i dont take it out they say i should have. If I wasn't offered a box and ask for one i get lectured because there is stuff in my cart. They are often older than me but I'm in my forties. Not exactly a whippersnapper. They can talk to me like an adult and not be rude. Just tell me nicely what you want and I'll do it. Again this isn't all of the helpers but enough to start to make me notice a pattern.

The increase and persistence of the kiosk people is frustrating. I pay a membership...I should not be inundated by sales pitches as soon as I walk in. Mostly its the phone people and the costco services like blinds and bathrooms. The people are nice but I often want to be left alone. The others like the candles, jewelry, jerky, etc. are good about not approaching you and waiting for you to show interest.

Lastly ...Its not this location's fault but.... bring...
