My husband and I were looking to purchase a bed. The girls helping us were very kind and answered our many questions. They also mentioned that they not only match prices, they beat them. We found a bed we were interested in but thought we'd get quotes from near bye stores as well. As we were leaving, a dining set caught our eye in which the sales associate mentioned that the more things we purchase, a bigger discount they could give us. When we returned a couple of hours later with a cheaper quote in hand for the bed, we were told that they were unable to get us a cheaper deal than what was advertised on the floor model as the owner wasn't available to approve the cheaper price as originally promised. We decided just to purchase the bed from the other furniture store but still went forward with purchasing the dining set from them. After we completed the sale, we were informed that a piece of the set wasn't at that location and it would take 2 weeks to come in. A little over 3 weeks after purchasing the dining set, we get a call from them stating our piece was in and ready for pick up. When we went to pick it up however, we were told that the piece was discontinued. (this piece was the selling point for us) They gave us the option of either taking the floor model or take two different pieces. I don't understand why they would have called to tell us they had it and changed their story once we got there.

First off I want to say Kaitlin is amazing she tried her hardest to get us the sofa we wanted. On the other hand the manager Kristin was not helpful or nice. We went in needing a sofa asap since we sold ours, we had cash in hand ready to go. We saw one that we really liked but it wouldn't be shipped until mid may. We asked if they would be able to sell us the floor model and what sort of deals they would be able to give us. The manager Kristin said she would not be able to do that since we are able to order it online, Kaitlin tried to show us another sofa that we weren't happy with I then asked her again if there is anyway they would be able to sell us the floor model we have cash on hand can pay for it now, she said she was going to talk to her manager, the manager then walked right by use with attitude and said i'm not doing it. We ended up just walking out we did not feel comfortable at that point. I then get home with in an hour and try to find it online, I couldn't find it so I call the store come to find out the manager sold the floor model to someone else! I was shocked and I asked I thought she couldn't sell it to us but she was able to sell it to a different family. Again, Katilin was very nice and tried her best but Kristin the manager was a joke bad business to say no to one family but yes to a different one, felt like we were judged and maybe they thought we didn't have the money who knows but not a...

I had a stint with this store for 2 months in 2023 and while I left in a way that was pretty passive aggressive I was wrong for that and could have communicated it better . My reaction was only for show, but was not proper by any means.

I did not like some of the way the management was organized for the store but it was my issue to communicate that. I really like the people (from 2023, whether they are here or not they deserve to be complimented here; if I can recall their names) like Anil, Anne, Christine, who are all nice easy to work with people, and the boss Martin was very diligent and had interesting charisma.

The store is beautiful and large and has a big selection from all kinds of beds to all kinds of furniture and ABQ is a beautiful community.

I do credit that I was taught quite a bit about finances and how credit and loans are worked. If I could have managed some things better in my life and communicated I could have kept on longer, but I did not know anything furniture or sales. It actually gave me some inspiration for the career I’m setting myself up for, and gave me some people skills.
